Associated Press: Mexican security chief confirms cartel family members entered US in a deal with Trump administration

Well, they would have the money to buy themselves one of those flashy Gold Immigration Cards that Trump will hand out to anyone for a few million dollars 🤷‍♀️

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is true - our POTUS is very transactional. 🤷‍♀️

We are also buddies with Syria now too apparently 🤷‍♀️.
we haven't recognized current Syrian government (HTS leadership) the sanctions are lifted to allow reconstruction of Syria
The sanction get lifted to help the populace, not to help the government leadership

And for you to read the article. Did you?
I've read articles on this.

There's no way around the fact trump is allowing "foreign terrorist group" family members to enter and stay in the USA.

So much for trump's designating these cartels as "foreign terrorist groups".

So much for trump's declaration that these cartels are waging war against the USA.

From the Associated Press:

Okay, so now after all the ginned-up Republican uproar over the crisis at the border, the dangers presented by the drug, gun and human traffickers of Mexican Cartels, the violations of due process of citizens and immigrants in the United States, the suspension of status for Afghan and Haitian refugees, and ignoring orders of the Supreme Court...after all that, the Trump Administration is now apparently specifically importing the families of Sinaloa cartel members into the United States.

If this is confirmed to be true, this is insane. I mean, what, did the Sinaloa Cartel promise to allow the Trump Organization to build a new resort on Cartel territory in exchange for the boss's wife and kids being allowed to come to the United States?

That kind of hypocrisy is a political staple and not unknown to Trump.

Things like screaming about "Anchor Children" while simultaneously keeping his current in-laws in this country using Melania as a "anchor baby".

And so much for the President's protecting the USA and its people from the "foreign terrorist groups" he claims are waging war against this country.

If it's so simple then it should be easy for you to explain as well.
Based on @Hello My Son 's comments about the thread topic is he in favor of what happened? Does he disagree? Does he not care? What are his reasons?

Why are you emotionally invested in my opinion or motivations?

Objective truth is what matters. The article clearly indicated what is purported to be going on here, and a US attorney even commented. It shouldn't be this difficult for anyone. A cartel leader we already have in custody is turning on other cartel leaders. In exchange for his assistance, the DOJ has obviously taken in his non-cartel family members so they don't get tortured and revenge killed.

Given that our DOJ is actively making deals to arrest cartel members/leaders, if any of those family members were cartel members/leaders, they'd be arresting them just the same. This should be common sense to everyone, but many people lack that now because of party cultism and insanity.

The fact that anyone on the left would be upset about us capturing cartel leaders and putting a stop to the fentanyl trade is why the majority of the country thinks they're batshit crazy right now.

Bringing Sinaloa family members into the USA is not protecting the country from the people trump so recently designated a "foreign terrorist group".

Sinaloa family members, si.

Accused but not proven members of other cartel terrorist groups, no. In fact, these people are RENDITIONED.
renditioned is a SCARY name for throwing foreign gang members into a foreign jail. TdA is identified by :

Alien Enemies Act: Alien Enemy Validation Guide

~~
A federal judge just agreed Trump has legit powers under the Alien Enemies Act. But he said they have to get a habeus hearing before deportation
Same thing SCOTUS just said ( the habeus hearing)

Guzman must want his family out of Mexico - subject to revenge there- for Guzman's testimony "at members of other criminal organizations likely as part of a cooperation agreement."

The family members are not wanted in the US , Guzman gets them into the USA as part of an agreement to testify/give info about against other criminal organizations. Guzman pleads guilty to other trafficking charges as well (plea deal)
So the Trump administration is allowing the families of cartel members in the US because they may suffer persecution in their home country.
Do you really not see the hypocrisy?

Bringing Sinaloa family members into the USA is not protecting the country from the group trump so recently designated a "foreign terrorist group".

A) What makes you think they're going to be freely going about their lives here?
B) What makes you assume that they're part of the cartel without any evidence whatsoever?
C) The article itself said they are not suspected of any crimes.

Are these cartel member in witness protection?

Or is that just red herring?

So, the fact that it's the DOJ and not Homeland Security driving this would imply that that it has to do with court proceeding which... voila.. is presently occurring.

Renditioned is the accurate term.

Funny how trump is so inconsistent, and MAGA is so oblivious to it.

Sinaloa Cartel? A "foreign terrorist group" that is waging war against the USA.

Sinaloa family members? Sure, bring them right on in, they're welcome in the USA.

You are the one who started the interaction with the passive aggressive snark post.
How do you know that immunity for the family members is not part of the deal?

So the Trump administration is allowing the families of cartel members in the US because they may suffer persecution in their home country.
Do you really not see the hypocrisy?

If it secures the arrests of other cartel leaders and brings down the fentanyl trade, then who gives a shit?

One of these things is a much bigger issue than the other.

Slight hypocrisy to take terrorists out of action and get dangerous drugs off our streets? Is it really this hard for you to accept that tradeoff?

They are family members. Close family members of the "foreign terrorist group" that is waging war against the USA.

Other people, who haven't even been shown to be family members (or members) of other "foreign terrorist groups" that are waging war against the USA, have been renditioned to indefinite, perhaps permanent, torture and confinement in a foreign hellhole.

Quite the disparate treatment. Why does MAGA stand for it?

you simply are being argumentative. i dont waste my time with that when there are posts here that explain the exact situation why

If? Terrorists out of action? Drugs off our streets? A tradeoff?
You don't know that any of these things are happening as a result of this.

You are the one who started the interaction with the passive aggressive snark post.

Well that's a complete load of bullshit. You posted this to me first when I hadn't interacted with you at all:

Explain your point to us like we are in kindergarten.

If? A tradeoff?
You don't know that any of these things are happening.

Lmao....neither do you. You're just assuming all of these people are members of the cartel.

If anything, I have more evidence supporting my position because the article clearly stated that the family members are not wanted for any crimes in Mexico.

You argument is based on nothing but made-up bullshit.

you simply are being argumentative. i dont waste my time with that when there are posts here that explain the exact situation why
LOL! You don't like my pointing out the fact trump renditioned 238 people with tattoos to a foreign hellhole, so....I'm being "argumentative".

Well, of course, you are. You have no response to the fact that trump's accorded wildly-different treatment to people who are "foreign terrorists" who are waging war against the USA.

Just think. US taxpayer monies' being spent on family members of the Sinaloa Cartel - who have been allowed into this country by the leader of the Republican Party.

Yeah, that's pretty evident. It's hilarious how upset people are that our DOJ is cooperating with Mexico to bring cartels down.

How awwwwwwful! :ROFLMAO:

How does bringing Sinaloa Cartel "family members" into this country protect Americans?

And here's a thought: How many more Sinaloa Cartel "family members" will trump bring into the USA?
