As Trump dithers over Ukraine, Russia’s military edge weakens, officials say

Voted for Clinton, Biden, and Harris in the last three elections.

But if you want to be in denial about why he won, you are probably going to get used to saying "President Vance" in four years.

Nope, just a clarification. I'm not opposed to immigration, I'm opposed to unvetted illegal immigration. So are most Americans. This is why Harris lost.

Then you should live in a community that is impacted by immigration, with shortages of housing, increases in crime, etc.

There's a reason why Hispanics and Asians who are citizens dramatically shifted towards Trump this time.
Well they are about to learn the consequences of supporting Trump when he eats their faces.

Nobody wants to live in a Russian puppet state, and the Ukranian people didn't want to be a puppet of Putin. Crappy example, and another Dodge because Zelensky won his election when Putin is too scared of democracy to even conduct a fair election.

As far as I can tell.
You want us to surrender to Putin, as long as he lives and no matter what country he invades.

You believe the USSR is still a viable national state.

You can't admit that Putin destroyed the democratic beginnings of the Russian Federation.

You can't admit that the nations in the former Warsaw Pact were never afraid of NATO, and they rejected the USSR for a very good reason.

You can't admit that Putin has respect for human life and his claims of self determination are nothing but lies and obviously self-contradicting.

You can't admit Putin is our greatest enemy, so you dodge almost every answer with boilerplate propaganda.

You think Putin has won elections because people support him, at the end of a gun barrel. You're unable to admit that Putin won't call an election unless he has control of the vote.

You have denied simple facts and I've known for a week now that there's a one-to-one correspondence between your posts and RT claims of Putin propaganda.

Your support for Putin is disengenuous. I consider that shameless. You are too shameless to discuss much at all.
Putin didnt destroy Russia’s chance at becoming a democracy. Yeltzin did with tanks and machine guns. Instead of giving state enterprises to the workers who put in the labor, he privatized them and gave them to cronies.

shock capitalism was an abysmal failure

No, we are at a point where we have 16% of the population foreign born.

And wondering why the country is coming apart at the seems.

We've shoved 20 pounds of shyte into a 10 pound bag.
16%? Thats it?…. Like holy shit lol.

Why do you keep telling this lie acting like thats the reason this country is falling apart? They didnt destroy our institutions. This is reich wing nuttery

When I googled it I found 14.3% as the largest number. So I guess he is rounding up using new math?

America is failing because Americans are so skeered of seeing anyone else succeed we would rather cut off our own nose to spite our faces. Its because American culture is kinda dogshit.

Immigrants didnt cause America to eat itself from within. Thats all 100% us.

I aint angry because America isnt going socialist, i dont expect that to ever really happen. Im angry because we let fear of other people blind us into cannibalizing ourselves

Um, NATO has attacked first. They attacked Serbia over Kosovo, they attacked Libya over Gaddafi

In Serbia/Kosovo, it stopped the fighting.

In Libya over Gaddafi, they had a UN resolution allowing NATO intervention to protect civilians

  • authorizes "all necessary measures [...] to protect civilians and civilian populated areas under threat of attack in the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, including Benghazi, while excluding a foreign occupation force of any form on any part of Libyan territory";

He had help from us. We sent the "Chicago boys" over there to "help" reorganize their economy which resulted in a dog eat dog oligarch war over industries going private. Then we opened up lots and lots of NGO's to interfere which they did until Putin finally kicked them out.

Sorry they jacked up your motherland.

The Comedian won 1 election, and hasn't held one since.

No, I just don't care. Obviously, most Russians are fine with Putin, probably because they agree with his goals (if not his methods).

You can't admit that the nations in the former Warsaw Pact were never afraid of NATO, and they rejected the USSR for a very good reason.

Or they are just taking advantage of us. Why build up a large military when the US will do the work for you.

The thing is, the US and NATO promised that NATO wouldn't expand eastwards when Germany re-united.

You can't admit that Putin has respect for human life and his claims of self determination are nothing but lies and obviously self-contradicting.

Putin never did anything bad to me.

The biggest problem with US foreign policy is we don't mind our own business. Not in Eastern Europe, not in the South China Sea, and not in the Middle East.

We need to learn to start doing that.

400 billion for Ukraine when our roads are falling apart, there's something seriously wrong here.

Naw, I don't care one way or another.

Now, you want to see me in rare form, we can talk about China and how idiotic our policies towards the Middle Kingdom are.

If you can't make it in Chicago, you can't make it anywhere.

We'd do better if the third world stopped dumping people here. Not that our Goo-goo leaders didn't ask for it by declaring us a "sanctuary city". Then Abbot just decided to dump people up here.

We don't shuffle anyone anywhere.

YOu don't?

Republican governors’ surprise dropoffs of thousands of asylum seekers and other migrants in Democratic-led cities has escalated and reframed a simmering political feud over immigration. While states have sparred with the federal government over enforcement and border security for years, their actions were chiefly to advance policies of their own or challenge federal policy through litigation, including over so-called sanctuary cities and the border wall. The busing and, in one instance, flights of migrants from Texas and Arizona have transformed the quarrel into one pitting Republican state officials against state- and city-level Democrats in the middle of an election season, exacerbating a deep red- and blue-state divide and bringing serious consequences for migrants, many of whom are asylum seekers. At least one governor in a blue state, California, has also joined the fray, urging a Justice Department investigation into whether some of the migrant transports constitute kidnapping. Where once state leaders directed their immigration complaints at the federal government, this episode raises questions whether a new era has begun: state-on-state fights over immigration.

I think you are a tad confused. Any Asian or Hispanic who voted is already a citizen.

The government’s January 2025 Current Population Survey (CPS) shows the foreign-born or immigrant population (legal and illegal together) hit 53.3 million and 15.8 percent of the total U.S. population in January 2025 — both new record highs. The January CPS is the first government survey to be adjusted to better reflect the recent surge in illegal immigrants. Unlike border statistics, the CPS measures the number of immigrants in the country, which is what actually determines their impact on society. Without adjusting for those missed by the survey, we estimate illegal immigrants accounted for 5.4 million or two-thirds of the 8.3 million growth in the foreign-born population since President Biden took office in January 2021. America has entered uncharted territory on immigration, with significant implications for taxpayers, the labor market, and our ability to assimilate so many people.

So are you claiming people who have legitimate concerns are worried about nothing?

Crime. Drugs. Prostitution. Loss of jobs. strains on social services. Education having to adapt to teaching ESL and the burden of thousands of additional students who don't pay taxes.

Yes, Trump's racism is kind of horrifying, but it's another example of Democrats doing an unforced error by being so radical they've scared off Mr. and Mrs. Middle Class.

Libya and the Balkans today are both hotbeds of Radical Islamist activity. Seems NATO made more of a mess than it solved.

You are getting off point.

The question is not 'Did NATO have justifications for their interventions".

the question is, "Given NATO's history of interferring in the affairs of others, should Russia be concerned about it rolling right up to their borders."

You said Putin was popular. I would be popular too if I rigged all my elections at gunpoint. You can't admit that the iron curtain had no fear of NATO. And your solution is to surrender to whatever Putin wants.

Why should I believe anything you say?

If Russia has no plan of attack, invasion or occupation, NATO at the border doesn't make any difference at all. NATO never started a war.

We'd do better if the third world stopped dumping people here.
Nonsense. That's how the joint got built in the first place.
YOu don't?

Yeah, the GOP. What's that got to do with me?

You mean except Libya and Serbia?

Nonsense. That's how the joint got built in the first place.

No, we got them from the First World, that's the point.

No it's members instigate them then NATO members jump in and participate.

Both were preceded, that's not starting a war. Why bother, there's no reason to believe you.

No it's members instigate them then NATO members jump in and participate.

In international law what you've described is possible and brings up the question of trump and NATO. Trump is more of a problem than any help. European countries can act independently.

Is your example that Ukraine and the US instigated things and that made it OK for indigenous Russians to die for ethnic Russians at such a pitch that there may be as many as 200, 000 dead Russian soldiers now. Is that the example you were talking about?

Thats not really the burden you make it out to be. Especially a small gathering waving flags and you are wrong about the latest polling so why continue making shit up? 16% is nothing and immigrants have been shown to commit less crimes than native born.

Also Trump has rounded up citizens. Thats what happens. We learned since Eisenhower that mass deportations cause humanitarian crises.

America is not failing because of immigrants or flag waving, America is failing because of its own dogshit know nothing homegrown culture.

I think you are just arguing to argue because you have been proven wrong so many times here.

The thing about polls is if you ask people specific policy questions the answers change/
