Re: As a Christian, can you support Hillary?

Newp, not even remotely. You don't know the bible, you don't know the teachings of Christ, your rabid dishonesty has been demonstrated here numerous times already and yet you try and pass off this charade of you being a Christian.

Again: why do you pretend that you are?

Haha. By all means, Trans, tell me about the "teachings of Christ."

You're apparently an expert!

"Trans"? Who's that?

Your cowardice is on open display. You simply cannot answer what I asked you. Why do you pretend to be a Christian?

Why do you continue to run away from simple questions? Lol

Yawn. Yet more projection and dishonesty from a pretend-Christian.

You might try reading the bible one day. Who knows? You could actually like it!

A term which you still have as of yet to actually define. :lamo

Thanks for yet further proving my point. Not only are you admittedly not a Christian, you don't even know the definition of the word.

Seriously, read a bible. I think you'd enjoy it, esp bits from the OT.

Re: As a Christian, can you support Hillary?

President Clinton didn't believe that oral sex constituted sex. If Mrs. Clinton is elected, the former President Clinton will again have an influence on both his wife and the White House --- admitted by Mrs. Clinton. President Clinton had this performed in the oval office behind the Presidential desk! Is that respect for the Office of President? Was that being respectful of the American public at large? Mrs. Clinton learned nothing.

Mrs. Clinton still believes Homosexual Marriage is normal. Mrs. Clinton still believes that Abortion is not sacrificing an important life. Mrs. Clinton still feels that the Bible has no place in the education of "Governmentally manipulated/controlled" students. Mrs. Clinton still believes that government controlled education of the masses is great --- while both the Clinton's and the Kennedy's sent their children to PRIVATE institutions. Mrs. Clinton still feels that missing emails are not impeachable but 17 minutes of silent tape are.

The Democrats caused the Depression starting in 2008 by creating the real estate crisis with their terrible house financing policies. This was the icing on the NAFTA cake that the Democrats designed encouraging manufacturers to move out of the country.

Yep, and I'm a Christian, and I could never support the Donald for a vast array of reasons that aren't primarily faith related, but some are.... that does count.

This is not an election where either candidate could be characterized as led by their faith... in fact, they each seem rather soul-less.

Probably the most faith-based POTUS we have had in a generation is Jimmy Carter, yet their are many Christians that would take Donald Trump over him.

That is actually a damn good point.
I'd expand it to say that "most" Christians would vote Trump over Carter.
The only thing left to the imagination is the insane twisted mess they'd use to justify it.
Carter does more Christian acts every week than Trump would in 10 lifetimes.

LMAO thats what I thought, I LOVE IT!!

Translation: your post got owned :laughat:

Re: As a Christian, can you support Hillary?

Can you support a candidate that at times, seems ashamed to be a Christian?

Yer confused. Clinton is not at all ashamed to be a Christian. She's ashamed that yer a Christian.

Re: As a Christian, can you support Hillary?

She might likely be ashamed of Jesus too. Some people are "Christians" of convenience but follow their own agenda...

Re: As a Christian, can you support Hillary?

As a Christian, can you support Hillary?

Given her support for Islam and Muslims? Given her call for Christians to deny their faith in favor of secularism? Given her war against the baby in the womb? Given her continually lying and unethical behavior?

This is not about Trump, it is about Hillary who rarely talks about her supposed Christian faith. Can you support a candidate that at times, seems ashamed to be a Christian?

How can you support Trump considering not so long ago he publicly supported partial birth abortion?

That's bordering on being a No True Scotsman fallacy.

Re: As a Christian, can you support Hillary?

No, it's really not. Christianity has a set "rubric" - if you will - which one must follow in order to be considered to meet the criteria for being a follower. If one is Christian, they believe that rubric was set by God himself.

I'm sorry, but the fact of the matter is that neither Trump nor Hillary fit the bill, either on the basis of their actions, or their self-professed beliefs.

Re: As a Christian, can you support Hillary?

I have had to pray so much about it. Its so hard to support Hillary, because when I think of Trump I think that is a Godly man. He is so humble. So faithful to his wife Ivana, they have been married what 39 years now and yet still Trump would never even so much as look at another woman... And Trump such a Cheerful Giver, how is this man such a successful billionaire when he does nothing but selflessly give to others? Did you know that some billionaires are so unbelievably greedy and selfish that they pay their own legal bills out of their charity? I even heard of one narcissistic billionaire that has used his charity to buy portraits of himself. Finally, Trump's knowledge of the Bible. As he himself has pointed out, he is a bit of scholar of "Two Corinthians" and as Trump himself has said "Nobody reads the Bible more than me".

Re: As a Christian, can you support Hillary?

If you're a "Christian," you're an incredibly poor one. I can say that much without question.
.

How can you tell a Christian is a total hypocrite? The frequent judging of others and the classification of others are less Christian than themselves.

What would Christ do?

Greetings, Top Cat. :2wave:

Ditto! I really enjoyed the "Two Corinthians" reference! *still laughing*

What would Christ do?

Judging from his behavior in the actual New Testament, not the utterly neutered version modern lukewarm Christians like to pretend exists?

He'd lay a rather cutting verbal smack down on those who claim to be his followers, but fail to obey his teachings. He might even toss some furniture around over it, in point of fact.

Re: As a Christian, can you support Hillary?

If Hillary Clinton's "Christian," I'm Hindu.

So you see it as yer place to decide who's a true adherent to the religion and who isn't. Reminds me of our friends in ISIL. I'd say the Lord properly makes those decisions.

He'd lay a rather cutting verbal smack down on those who claim to be his followers, but fail to obey his teachings. He might even toss some furniture around over it, in point of fact.

In that case, I'd say you should keep yer head down.

one narcissistic billionaire that has used his charity to buy portraits of himself.

I heard one of his spokesliars today say that the whole thing is legal because the painting, on display at one of his golf courses, is there "in storage." Frumpy will fall, and very hard. I'll enjoy every minute of his comeuppance.

No, but the word of God does. If one isn't even going to bother to create the illusion that they are trying to actually live by its dictates (as Clinton and Trump most certainly have not), then that word more than speaks for itself, methinks.

How can a blatant enemy of everything Christ actually taught while on Earth be considered to be amongst his followers?

In that case, I'd say you should keep yer head down.

As should those who disgrace the name of their faith, by claiming membership, while simultaneously championing Godlessness, immorality, and the mass slaughter of the unborn innocent in direct contradiction to its teachings.

Wow. Irony at the Intergalactic Meathammer level.

You and I were just going over this yesterday and it turns out you're not doing a very good job of it.
As should those who disgrace the name of their faith, by claiming membership, while simultaneously championing Godlessness, immorality, and the mass slaughter of the unborn innocent in direct contradiction to its teachings.

Or, as in your case, simply being ignorant of the teachings of Christ and rejecting the bible completely.
