Armageddon: Should You Fear It?

See my signature. "I walk by faith not by sight".

I don't expect those that have none to understand.

Is faith a valid pathway to determining truth? Is there any belief that a person could not take on faith?

Then comes the second verse.

"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

Cool that doesn’t answer my questions.

Is faith a reliable pathway to truth? Is there anything that a person could not take on faith?

With the best guide for living? I don't think so...

It isn't a guide for living. It doesn't tell you anything about what to eat or drink or activities to engage in. It doesn't educate you or prepare you for a job to make a living. It makes you treat this life as an obligation to some god and count down until death. Life is much too interesting to focus on stuff that only comes after death. I'd rather live than prepare to die.

I'm preparing for everlasting life...

There is no such thing. It's like waiting for the Great Pumpkin. I'd rather focus on living now than count on something imaginary coming true.

With Mohammed being the chief prophet not Jesus.
Not for the Christian Arabs. They use the term Allah too.

Allah is merely the arabic for the word 'God'. Arab Christians call God Allah.
Yet, the Bible says there are many gods, who all have personal names...the only True God also has a personal name, Jehovah...

Other that the fact that is wrong, ok.

I mean he is referred to as many names.
El, Elohim, Adonai, YHWH, Ehyeh-Asher-Ehyeh, Shaddai,

Of course, Hebrew does not have the J sound, so Jehovah would never have been used

Nope...those are merely titles, except got YHWH, like king or governor...God has only one personal name, just like you and I do...

Nope. Jehovah is made up in the 16th century. It's not a personal name.

no we should not fear Armageddon.....because we cannot do one thing about it anyway......someone said the only thing to fear is fear itself......makes sense.....

besides there is not one single one of us who knows for certain what happens after death.......we know what we believe but we have no proof.......if we did we would all just kill ourselves and go on to Heaven......oh how small we are

Jehovah
Jehovah (/dʒɪˈhoʊvə/) is a Latinization of the Hebrew יְהֹוָה‎ Yəhōwā, one vocalization of the Tetragrammaton יהוה‎ (YHWH), the proper name of the God of Israel in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament. The Tetragrammaton יהוה is considered one of the seven names of God in Judaism and one of the names of God in Christianity.

Allah isn't the one true God. So, no.
Allah is the same God as the Christian and Jewish God.
With Mohammed being the chief prophet not Jesus.
Muslims and Jews do not believe Jesus is a prophet. Seems you're theistically outnumbered.
Which of the ten commandments do you ignore?
Most of them. With a couple exceptions, they're just BS and there to stroke gods ego.
See my signature. "I walk by faith not by sight".

I don't expect those that have none to understand.
Because most of us "faithless" are more rational and not theistically delusional.
Not wrong about my faith. That's all that really counts.
A Pascals Wager. Faith (or belief) does not equal fact.

but, it is still one of 7 names.

No...it's not a title, as the others are...
You can keep on saying that. The term Jehovah STILL wasn't invented till the 16th century.

That is because no one pronounced God's name, due to superstition on the Jew's part...when people finally learned the Bible in English, they were smart enough to understand that God wants us to use His name and make it known...
