I was looking at your profile and noticed "Guitar, stand-up comedy, string theory".

Do friends and family come up to you and say "Say something funny...quick... say something funny!"?

FYI...yes, I get asked to say something funny all the time, it's an occupational hazard...my standard response is, "Oh, I'd love to but can't, sorry, union rules..."

P.S. You know, I went to freerepublic.com and tried to post there, but got my account shut down three times (so much for a "free" republic) and also went to democraticunderground.com where I had no trouble posting but, frankly, found it boring, since they openly discourage non-liberals (I live in ultra violet Seattle, the place is lousy with liberals). I want a debate, not an echo chamber, which is the problem with our political discourse. That's why I like your site and recommend it to people. Keep up the good work!
