A breast on primetime television.
Yes or No and why.

Depends on the context. If I'm sitting around watching what I think is a family show with my kids and it turns into garbage midway through without any warning I'd be annoyed.
one can always change the channel if one is offended by such things
That was a blunder by CBS, for the reason that talloulou stated.Did you get upset by the Superbowl thing with Janet Jackson?

It's already happened and allowed by a primetime network once that I know of.
Several years back there was made for tv movie adapatiation of the Diary of Ann Frank, at least I think that's what it was, either way I'm positive it was based on a holocaust survival story. At some point while being processed at one of the camps a woman walked across the screen showing everything from the waste up. It came as quite a shock since it was on primetime tv on a public, not cable, channel.
Have you seen primetime television lately. I don't think it could get much worse. I could imagine one of those cheesy gameshows but somehow they would throw breasts in. Or CSI : Breast.
Na it isn't offensive to me because it is natural.
I'm not sure that is even humanly possible, but then I am coming from the perspective of a male in his early 20s.Warn before hand that the show contains mild nudity, that same as they do with violence, so that people have a choice not to watch in case they are offended and their should be no problem.
Hopefully as a nation we get to appoint where the human body is not an offensive object and people will stop associating nudity with sexual activity.
Yeah but if you were raising a daughter you'd probably be more concerned. You can attempt to steer your children towards certain beliefs and away from others but ultimately they will be at least somewhat influenced by all that they see in the world that has nothing to do with what you've tried to show them. It's just tiring to hear about all these young actresses who are in rehab because they forgot how to eat, or they're on drugs, and then you have them bouncing around on the TV as if they don't have a brain in their head and their biggest priority in life is looking "hot" and "sexy". Combine that with shows where Drs. give women fake breasts and crap like Top Model, Beauty and the Geek, MTV, ect...I'm not sure that is even humanly possible, but then I am coming from the perspective of a male in his early 20s.
The "offensiveness" of the human body is only a factor due to teaching by religion and parents that being naked with any except your significant other is not a good thing.
That is perfectly fine and up to parents to teach to their children as they see fit. If they neglect that duty, TV, peers, observation, and school will be the teachers, and they have no foundation to stand on when they complain that their kids turned out in a way which they dislike.
As a heterosexual human male in his early 20's, I have no problem with seeing breasts on TV. Not that I watch much TV anyway.
