My politics flow from my principles so I don't cheer for political parties like their my team, no.

Any party or politician that does not actually stand for something and is not consistent in their principles is not worth a damn.

A party that can't disavow genocide is a party that stands for nothing.
 
I just honestly can't see why anyone who isn't rich would vote Republican.
A party that does everything in their power to slash spending on the things most people need like infrastructure, public transport and who seemingly think only those who can afford treatment deserve healthcare.

They are the party of the super rich and large companies and they have somehow convinced poor people to vote for them.
I just don't understand why so many people vore for a party that actively makes life tougher for them.

Republicans are the party of the middle class now. I received more money from the Trump 2017 tax cuts, and I'll receive more money yet with the next round once the "big, beautiful bill" is passed. Biden never extended the 2017 tax cuts, but Trump will. Trump even floated no income taxes on anyone under $150k, although I don't expect that to happen. I'm not resentful of wealthy people, I say good for them for being successful. That's the American dream. Punishing people who become successful, and sowing resentment toward them is the Democrat approach.

I have principles. Some Democrats have principles. The Repubs have sold their souls to the devil.

At this time, supporting the Democrats is the only logical move.

Not belonging to R or D was the best decision I ever made.
Some may say that I am a fence sitter. So be it.

Ok, so I voted for Harris for so many reasons although I am also disagreeing with part of her platform.
I sleep soundly having voted for her over the felon.
Whatever it is that is going on right now, it appalls me to the core.

I support the party that best represents the Constitution, my values and conscience. It's not the GOP or MAGA.

I’m a baseball fan, especially the Atlanta Braves. As for the major parties, I think they both suck. Apparently so too does a growing number of Americans as swing voters, independents has risen from 30% of the electorate in 2006 up to 43% today.

Fiscal policy Conservative
We as a society must have strong safety nets for those less fortunate
Taxation more you make more you pay. Progressive taxation rates
Those with incomes over approx 5 or 10 M, higher rates regardless of how it was earned
