We'll actually be Europe from Oct. 10-23. Otherwise, we would participate. There have been lots of No Kings protests within 10 minutes of our house and we have enjoyed them. Hell, we may decide just to stay in Europe.

Are you busy October 18th? Please join me by attending a 'No Kings' event near you.

Potentially millions of your fellow Americans will join together to say that America is not an authoritarian state. It wasn't that long ago that these protests would have included lots of Republicans as well. Today? Not so much.

Great link to something near us. We'll be there if in any way possible.

I went to the last one, and the next one will be in another nearby town so I'll head out as well.

Since the USA has no Constitutional provision regarding a "King," it stands to reason that we don't have one.

What we DO have is a duly elected President with both the right and duty to exercise all the powers authorized by the U.S. Constitution to the holder of that office.

To prevent an elected President from overstepping his authority, we have a Supreme Court, and we have a Congress consisting of a House and a Senate who together make the laws that the President is required to enforce.

So no, I see no reason to join a Leftist protest designed to show opposition to a President I voted for and for whom I currently support as doing exactly what I voted for.

You're simply rallying against Trump because the rest of what you wrote simply is a lie.

We have separate but equal powers. This has not changed.

People like you just don't like anything the courts say which rule for President Trump or recognize that he also won the House.

Go protest against the election though. It's your right.

Funny , we won't protest the election, we don't have evidence of fraud either.

It's not about his issue points, it is that he is not accountable to the other two branches nor to the people.

Crying about a delusional, senile, corrupt, authoritarian? No, Your projection confuses "crying" with opposition.
No projection on my part. I'm happy with my vote. What's done is done and cannot be undone.

The time to oppose is at the election polls. When one can't change the outcome of a democratic election, it's called crying over spilt milk, but you be sure to cry all you want to. It's your party.

I don't see any options I can vote for. They are all biased so no real options to choose from.

Even the last one is out because I have no other plans. ;)

First you have understand a FUNDAMENTAL error you have here !

That is "America" "IS NOT A DEMOCRACY!!!" .........

Until you understand that you will have a lot of problems and frustrations about why things are happening the way they are!
Please watch this short video to get the basic understanding of why you are gaslighted in your current understanding of what's going on!

And here's a BIG clue for you!
Please note that everything Trump is doing , he is being vindicated IN THE COURTS !!!!!.....
So that makes, "Judicial Branch of Government" agreeing that "The Executive Branch of Government" is Following the "US CONSTITUTION" !!!!!.......

So the FASCIST DEM's and their Propaganda Machine the Media) are gaslighting all the brain Dead Sheep in to thinking there is a problem ! When Trump is actually destroying the Corrupt & Criminal Status Quo in the US Government !

I voted OTHER.

I'll be doing what I usually do.

Sitting comfortably at home wondering why the **** it took so many folk so many damned years to figure out what Donald Trump wanted to do to America and to Americans.

The "No Kings" rallies are worthless!

Trump is already as close to a King as we have had here on this continent since before 1776.

He rules all three branches of Government and in essence controls the Supreme Court.

This is not going to change until January 20th, 2029, if then, because of any "No Kings" rallies.

The Day to rally against any neo American King was November 5th, 2024.

Folks missed the boat on keeping Donald from being KING.

Now folk are just pissing in the wind.

Why would the time for protest be limited to an election cycle?

When one can't change the outcome of a democratic election, it's called crying over spilt milk, but you be sure to cry all you want to. It's your party.

Are you suggesting there shouldn't be dissent? Is resistance to trump wrong?

Why would the time for protest be limited to an election cycle?
It isn't. I keep telling you it's your party, and you can cry if you want to. I'll even throw in a couple of boxes of tissues and an American flag if you want.

I don't care what you do. Why would you need my approval anyway?

I just don't remember crying and you're saying I did. So I'll ignore that you said the word cry.

I don't care what you do. Why would you need my approval anyway?

I asked you that because Trump himself hates dissent. He removed all the inspectors general. Congress won't act, the cabinet won't act, the Supreme Court won't hold trump accountable.

Even the NYT is no longer specific about him from media intimidation.

If trump commits a crime, who or what institution will stop him?

I'll be at Houston,
Noon to 2:00 Discovery Green
2 pm City Hall.

HPD will not clear them out so it will be going well into the night at two places about a 15 minute walk from one to the other.

I may watch the goings on from the Snappy Lunch while I am enjoying a pork chop sandwich. The Mount Airy NC addition of this is taking place at the intersection of Main Street and Pine Street, just a hundred yards away.

Yes. I'll be at one of them.

Yeah lemme know when this peacenik stuff gets rid of trump.

But the Speaker of the House refuses to seat a Democrat (2 weeks now).
Why is the Speaker ignoring the constitution. Maybe he thinks he's a king?

Just something to stirred up the Trump haters.

The Supreme court has ruled 21 times in favor of the Trump administration.
Kings or fascists don't use courts.
