They don't exist in a material sense but are marital things the only things that exist?Probably for the fact that if it doesn't have a physical component, it doesn't exist in the material universe.

Yes. That which does not exist, does not exist. They don't exist in a material sense but are marital things the only things that exist?
How is it that all the religious DP posters are the ones that believe in UFOs, telepathy, clairvoyance, ghosts, etc.?That's the thing. Does something not exist if we do not yet know how to verify it, falsify it, quantify it, measure it? Is there such a thing as telepathy? I believe there is as I have witnessed that beyond a reasonable doubt. Clairvoyance? I think there is more evidence to support that than evidence that it doesn't. There were a half dozen witnesses to my mother knowing the very moment her brother was gravely injured in Korea--they watched her circle the date on the calendar though it would be several days before she was officially notified as his closest next of kin. And then there are our own thoughts. Do any of these things consist of matter? Is there a force of measurable energy in them? I don't know. But I find the concept fascinating. And I think we cannot rule out the possibility of ghosts existing or some paranormal phenomenon that we call ghosts.

Let's call it an acute observation that those who are saved by a risen-again zombie also believe their mothers are clairvoyant.I don't know but that is a fascinating statement. Could you please share your data to back it up? I'm sure those of us interested in scientific possibilities would be fascinated by it.
You are moving the goal posts. You said things that don't have a physical component don't exist. This is short sighted. Does physics explain the universe perfectly?Yes. That which does not exist, does not exist.
No, people have been seeing spirits for millennia. And perhaps they are in sunny parks and the beach it's just we are too detracted to see them. I know people that have experienced paranormal things in places other than the cemetery. Is it your contention that they are just deranged?People hear bumps in the night at cemeteries all the time, but why only at the cemetery? The entire world is 4.5 billion years old. The entire Earth is a cemetery. Yet ghosts and demons never appear at concerts, the beach, ice cream shops, sunny parks or any place with a video camera. Only at that one cemetery where that one person was creeped out, which had probably only been that way for ... 50 years?
Who said they are? I am creeped out by opossums, that doesn't meanthey exist solely to creep me out, just that they do.Secondly since when are ghost solely obsessed with creeping people out?
Why would something that isn't human enjoy human things? You are very narrow minded on this topic. For some reason, ghosts have left behind the rather common desires of chatting with friends, wanting to play Xbox, hiking the natural wonders of the world or checking out the hotties at the gym. Now we're advancing the thought that non-material ghosts solely exist to move objects around? At night.
When you use a logical fallacy yes it isn't logical.Sounds completely logical.
Who is saved by a zombie? What are you babbling about?Let's call it an acute observation that those who are saved by a risen-again zombie also believe their mothers are clairvoyant.
Apparently ideas and thoughts don't exist. because they have no physical component. That's the thing. Does something not exist if we do not yet know how to verify it, falsify it, quantify it, measure it? Is there such a thing as telepathy? Likely because they think with an open mind. How is it that all the religious DP posters are the ones that believe in UFOs, telepathy, clairvoyance, ghosts, etc.?
I'd say ditto
I believe they are some type of energy although a trapped soul, meh I doubt it, more like a piece of energy trapped in a time warp since time is not actually linear, but I don't know.
No, I didn't really have reservations.
The thing I have heard about in grave yards are sometimes called shadow people, they tend to be linked to possession. So I think they are demons. Plus a friend of mine had told me about it without knowing what a shadow person was. He and a friend of his were divinity students.
People.Who are they possessing?
I'm not sure, but at least by frightening to death. I'm pretty sure they can also throw things and push people off ledges.
Who said they need a physical component?
I'll buy the frightening people to death, but only if they're willing to be frightened.
Blaming the victims of ghosts?
Yep.
They have no one to blame but themselves.
No scientific evidence currently shows the existence of paranormal events or entities to be true.
And, when you walk through a spooky graveyard or past a supposedly haunted house, and hear an unexplained sound, or see an unexplained light or movement, you're able to just brush it off with the above statement.
Right?
Psychosomatic auditory hallucinations...
Most people have to pay for such a thing.
Yes? Why would you be afraid of something that doesn't exist? I don't fear goblins, demons, witches, gods or devils, poltergeists or ghost. That which does not exist cannot cause harm. I'm not afraid of the dark. Only the small, terrified mind swamped in the hallucinations that cloud his judgement is afraid. And, when you walk through a spooky graveyard or past a supposedly haunted house, and hear an unexplained sound, or see an unexplained light or movement, you're able to just brush it off with the above statement.
