PARIS (Reuters) - [size=-1]Yasser Arafat (news - web sites), the guerrilla icon turned Nobel Peace prize winner who ended up isolated and locked in renewed conflict with Israel, died in France on Thursday, his dream of a Palestinian state unfulfilled. He was 75.

I can't get that Wizard of Oz song out of my head...
"Ding dong, the witch is dead..the witch is dead..Ding dong, the wicked witch is dead."

I've heard it said that Arafat's succesor is considered a moderate and may not be capable of holding the Palestinians together.

What has everyone else heard?
