I believe if you break down the Biden plan piece by piece you will find that people are not in favor of his total plan. That's why the dems are pushing so hard to get it passed, they know it's not going to get the favor of the nation on whole. They shouldn't have tried to pass such a massive socialist program with such a small majority in Congress. Joe has messed up very badly and either he or who ever advises him doesn't see it of doesn't care. It's one thing to say you like the Biden plan and another to say you like all of the Biden Plan. So what you have is some people like A, some B, some C, some D, some E, but practically none of them like more than a couple of the parts and most really dislike at least one program enough to get in the way of voting for it. The dems know this and are trying to ramrodl it through. And yet, large majorities WANT many of the things that Biden/Democrats have been proposing. Chris Cillzza (and "pundits" like him) exist to foment manufactured discontent to get clicks
I blame the republicans in the Senate for the failure on healthcare. What's wrong with free stuff? Nothing is actually free, somebody has to pay and I'm in that group that keeps seeing the effects of bad policy, too much free stuff and too many free loaders. Its a big country.
we're going to need a big government. get used to it.
Who's going to supply and administer to my free BidenCare™ healthcare plan?
trump said it would be better, cheaper and cover everyone....but nothing even happened.
Biden gets in.....and all of a sudden I have a 100% free BidenCare™ plan.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
I'm just not seeing the problem with free stuff. You folks aren't looking at this rationally. IMO
Currently, 77% of Republicans prefer fewer services and lower taxes, while 15% want no change and 7% prefer higher taxes and more services.
Maybe in a ho-hum sort of way. If a pollster were to ask me if I "WANT" Halloween to be on Saturday I'd say yes. Looks like it's going to be on Sunday. That's fine, too. No biggie. And yet, large majorities WANT many of the things that Biden/Democrats have been proposing.
Guess he sort of forgot. On to unions and climate change!I understand what this president hasn’t from the beginning: We will never get our economy back on track, we will never get our kids safely back in school, we will never have our lives back until we deal with this virus.
Its a big country.

Oh....now we're souring on it? Not when Government was in its biggest expansion eras, but now?
Real ID?Oh....now we're souring on it? Not when Government was in its biggest expansion eras, but now?
lol
Enjoy your Real ID.
One of Republicans' expansions of government power.Real ID?
I'm shocked. Plutocrats spend billions on right-wing propaganda attacking government spending on the citizens 24x7, and some citizens have a negative few of the government spending money on the citizens. It makes no sense!
You don't know? Perchance you should investigate the Patriot Act and the Real ID Act, and come back to me bitching about "Big Government".Real ID?
But if you CALL it by the name Republicans want, 'big government', maybe polls are against that. Like the way the public loved what was in Obamacare, but were 'against' 'Obamacare'.Many polls showing the majority of Americans are IN FAVOR of the Democrats infrastructure bills and the expansion of Medicare

I would agree with you.But if you CALL it by the name Republicans want, 'big government', maybe polls are against that. Like the way the public loved what was in Obamacare, but were 'against' 'Obamacare'.
We could be solving simple poverty on an at-will basis in our at-will employment States with existing legal and physical infrastructure.
That's what Dems keep saying but see post #24 for a different perspective, if you want to read a different perspective. Pushing through legislation based on a narrative (rather than the reality) of how Americans will feel about it could be quite risky to a party's strength/numbers going forth. If Dems lose the biggest group of voters, Independents, they won't win just as Republicans won't if they lose Independents. I don't think you could find any poll delivering good news about what has happened to Dem support of this administration.False.
