WASHINGTON – The Associated Press has learned that a second Nigerian man has been taken into custody aboard a jetliner in Detroit after locking himself in the airliner's bathroom.
So in this thread you're saying we need to be objective yet in the Fort Hood thread you are saying the guy is clearly a jihadi terrorist. Nice double standard.
If we don't know officially then we shouldn't assume, in any case. The court of public opinion has little basis in what is real.
Did this guy kill anyone? Did he go in guns-a-blazin' screaming, "alluah akbar"? Is he connected to AQ? Did he preach jihad? Did he email radical clerics asking about killing Americans? We don't know any of that, do we?
I see no double standard.
You were ready to call Hasan a muslim terrorist and question the loyalty of all Muslims before we knew anything more than his name.

Don't pretend like you acted responsibly and waited for all that information to come out.
And, it turned out that I was correct. Huh?
What did we know at that point? He was a Muslim. He had opened fire on American soldiers and he had yelled, "alluah akbar", during the attack. Far more than we know now. Yes?
Get your facts straight before you flame me, buddy.
And now you're just lying.
The fact that he yelled allah akbar was not even hinted at until 12 hours after you made your claims.

The fact that he was a muslim was not known either - you just assumed that from his name and the (false) claim from others in the thread that he was a convert.
When you concluded that he was a muslim terrorist, you knew this:
-His name was terroristy-sounding
-Someone had speculated that he might have been a muslim convert
Just heard on the news, looks like the guy was just sick.
