Were you told that bombing abortion clinics was the Christian thing to do? Do you have a source?
ALL Islamic dominated countries are repressive. All of them. Of course if you want to name one that isn't I'd like to hear back from you.
Like people who blow up abortion clinics.
Turkey, though secular in the past despite its muslim majority, is moving in the direction of other countries in the area which means more Sharia and less personal freedoms. Already more journalists have been jailed than ever before and the crackdown will continue when the control of the Internet takes place.
Which 'Christian terrorist groups' would these be?
I haven't seen Christians rise up in protest of Christian terror groups.
Turkey (which is according to wikipedia, 99% Muslim) is politically repressive to you?
They have free elections and full voting rights for all adults.
That is a politically repressive society to you?
Okaaaaay.
Yes, indeed like people that blow up abortion clinics. It's amazing how easily you grasped that distinction when it came to bashing Christians. But to point out a flaw in your attempt toequivocate the level of violence between the two, the rate of occurrence is extremely low, with 24 occurring in the US since 1984 (according to the wiki).
Now compare that to the rate of similar violence in the islamic world
So it is about religion?
At the absolute most you could estimate 1 million violent, radical muslims in the world. There are currently 1 billion muslims. That represents .1% of the muslim population.
How about Christians blowing up Muslim houses with drones?
Turkey is an extreme outlier in the islamic world. In fact, it's likely the only muslim dominated country where secularism meets wide spread support
What in the hell are you talking about. I'm talking about drone strikes against terrorists. Now, I realize that to some, these folks aren't terrorists at all but rather heroes battling American imperialism by blowing themselves and other innocents to bits.
I'm talking about the fact that drone strikes are aimed at terrorists and terrorist sympathizers. I realize that people like you would rather wait until they kill a few americans before getting outraged, but for me - and for most americans - I like the fact that there isn't an Al Quaeda terrorist anywhere in the world that doesn't go to sleep at night without the thought in the back of his mind that Mr. Drone might visit him. These people have received sanctuary in Pakistan, and those who give them sanctuary can't complain when they get caught in the explosion.
'After decades of repressive rule, free and fair legislative elections took place in 1999. Indonesia is now the world's third most populous democracy, the world's largest archipelagic state, and home to the world's largest Muslim population.'

When you do the same thing over and over again you should expect the same results.
I have an idea. Why don't we leave other people in the world the **** alone? Why don't we stop invading their nations and overthrowing their governments, killing their people, denigrating their cultures and religions, stealing reasons and occupying their lands? Don't tell me you know what the results would be because we've never tried it! We will continue doing the same thing and continue to complain because the results will be the same.
Yes, but how many ENTIRE nations are now being run by radical Muslim elements (governments)? Pakistan, Iran, Syria,..........
First, I'd disagree with your number. How did you come up with 1 million anyway.........symapathizer math?
Secondly, if we did accept your number.....just how much harm could a measly one million violent Muslims do? I know, I know.......no big deal in your world........just a matter of statistics......no need to be alarmed.
Which church is doing that?
Are you saying that Turkey is - at present - a politically repressive country?
Yes or no, please?
I believe he was referring to the United States, which unfortunately is predominantly christian.
Do you think that violence is a function of religion or a function of the myriad socioeconomic problems in those areas?
American Christians. Or do you think only non-Christains of this predominantly Christian nation are permitted to fly drones and blow up **** in Muslim countries?
We are there because their governments want us there. When their governments no longer want us there we won't be.
No really keep trying to explain why it's ok to condemn Islam because of a few extremists but Christianity is immune to criticism.
I actually probably should just take a step back and watch. I can't stand christianity or islam, so I should revel in the fact that they are both trying to destroy each other. I guess the part of me that just can't stand hypocritical, ridiculous, rhetoric got ahold of me. My bad.
Why yes or no? Is that important to you?
The fact is when Islamic fundamentalists gain control, as they are doing, personal rights and freedoms will disappear. Turkey was a secular nation and NOT controlled by Islamists, despite Muslims being in the majority. It was, as in most countries with a Christian background, live and let live. That is not what is happening there now.
