Oh I know. Ice Bullets are nonsense. But that's the great thing about Conspiracy Theory folks. They will swear it's true.

We don't have the Coroners Report yet. We don't have the Police Investigation Report. We don't have a lot yet, but the CT folks are already picking holes in what they think the theory is.

The reason they do this is they have to have an explanation now. They don't want to wait until tomorrow. Or Next Week. If they don't have all the answers immediately, they'll fill in the blanks with their usual suspects. Jews being a favorite Boogieman for the Radical Right. Some hidden technology that the Jews are using.

I posted a long response about how Bullets kill. This is what I'd call a Scenario Two. The Four are Vital hit. Head or heart usually. 2) Bleeding Out. 3) Suffocation. 4) Complications.

Now, if these guys are patient enough they'll get all the answers from the Prosecution. Files will be released, the actual folks writing those files will testify. But before that happens, the CT folks will "know" the experts are lying to us. I mean in another thread they are still insisting that Floyd died of Natural Causes and or Drug Overdose.

It's like a religious conviction. They know. They know it in their hearts. And anyone who disagrees is a heretic who refuses to see the truth.

I used to debunk 9/11 truthers online. I've said it was a waste of time, but it did teach me to walk away from hopeless discussions instead of letting them drag me down a rabbit hole of bullshit.

I will do it from time to time. But like you I long ago learned that it is like debating religion. The True Believers will never consider the facts you are presenting. And those True Believers exist in every single walk of life. And they're always way smarter than everyone else because they see the truth.

I ran into one last week who was a true believer on shooting. Specifically how it was fine to use cast lead bullets without a jacket in .357 Magnums and other higher power handguns because the lead he used was hard enough. I literally spent about five or six seconds considering the scenario before I shrugged and walked off. Like the fellows who took Horse Dewormer and didn't get sick from COVID they're sure they have the truth. They won't consider that it was more luck than dewormer. The shooter friend was convinced that he knew all he needed to, and it was the big bullet manufacturing conspiracy that had you believing the lie about leading the barrel. I just walked away after wishing him well. I didn't have the time, or the crayons to explain the truth to him.

The shooter has been seriously disciplined to literally say nothing to the FBI, which is another oddity.

The guy was terminally online. Just because he was from the left whing doesn't mean he wasn't smart enough to google "should I talk to the cops or ask for a lawyer."

He was shot in the neck. The bullet went between the muscles but pierced the jugular vein.
 
To add. The AR15 leave the big exit wounds. Their velocity is anywhere from 2750 to 2750 ft./sec. The 30-06 is less at 2500 to 2920 ft./sec. Hunting rifles do not have their rounds break apart when they hit meat. The 223 round does.
