Quad - the - ****!!

Honestly thought Latin is a cool language. It's just complicated as hell to learn.

There are only two real reasons to learn Latin - an expected career in law, or to inflate the pseudo-intellectual side of someone who thinks Latin equates to additional IQ points.

I know this isn't about the OPs post but, I wanted to respond to the "uses" of Latin. School counselors argue that taking Latin in high school will help improve SAT scored but, I don't know how much truth there is in this. Also, as far as a career in law goes, it may be helpful to know the root words of some terms but, I don't think it will be that helpful. It is definitely a lost language and studying Spanish might be more beneficial in the real world.
