I like that term "irredeemably gullible". It aptly describes those who continue to champion Team Trump's reliance on Alternative Facts. This refreshing new wave of Resistance displaying itself at Town Hall meetings across the nation reaffirms my faith in American style democracy. I want to thank Team Trump for reigniting wide spread interest in our political system. Viva Trump!
Actually, it describes the small but noisy group of minions following orders from the Progressive Machine. I do share your thanks for President Trump. On that note, for helping to expose those who have been doing so much damage to the country and it's citizens.
Seeing these liberal fascists exposed will go a long way in cleaning the swamp and returning to policies and agenda's that will benefit all citizens, not just the latest special interests groups the Progressive Machine uses to get the dogs barking.
Our Nitwit Lunatic President supports Alternative Facts. In spite of living in Southern California, you now have new found hope by creating your Alternate Reality and sharing it with your DP Comrades. In your new and improved world, a small but noisy group of minions follows orders from the Progressive Machine, a new President drains an imaginary Swamp and exposes the liberal fascists and the others who have damaged the country. In my world and from my Westcoast mid-Florida view, I continue to live very comfortably... highly entertained by the obvious incompetence of Trump the Chump, well aware of our government's checks and balances and confident of a better future ahead! So we both have a lot more of what we wanted. Viva Trump!
LOL
Although not necessary, it continues to be a source of entertainment to read the talking points the minions controlled by the Progressive Machine have been trained to echo.
The hidden message behind these talking points is the fear the surrender to Progressivism will now result in an end to promise of the Nanny State taking care of all needs.
I'm not surprised the threat of a return to individual responsibility is being met with such resistance.
"a return to individual responsibility" basically means; I GOT MINE, SCREW THE REST OF YOU CLOWNS!
Under such a system as some wish for, 'gated communities' will need bigger walls and 24-hour armed security. Of course, every person living in such enclaves will be armed at all times so there will be that additional security for the residents. Who shouldn't shoot each other all that often because they will have undergone intensive firearms training as part of the requirements for living in the community along with proof of their financial assets.
Of course the industrial plant built just outside the walls will be greatly appreciated as the smoke and smells emanating from its chimneys will be proof that the over-bearing socialistic EPA is no longer and those stupid zoning regulations have been done away with as part of the free market capitalism so strongly promoted by the residents of the gated community. Yep, life will be idyllic when those librul socialistic academic types have been shut away so they can no longer influence young citizens. Life will be good - for those who have emigrated to cleaner locations.
What an absurd statement. It doesn't mean I've got mine go screw yourself. It means go get it if you want it.
Thanks for the rhetoric you spread in the rest of your screed, but it doesn't help cover your apparent fear of being held responsible for the decisions you make, and how they impact your life.
Denial ain't just a river in Egypt - unfortunately.
"individual responsibility" apparently means for some, "If you can't pay for an education, you don't deserve one for yourself or your children"
"individual responsibility" apparently means, "So what if that guy/woman has been diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic, they are a citizen and should be allowed to buy a firearm!
"individual responsibility" apparently means, "Honey, the water coming out of our kitchen faucet smells funny and is kinda brown color. Do you think those libruls were right when they warned us about fracking next door? I guess we have to put in our own filtration system now."
"individual responsibility" apparently means, that people living close to pig farms, coal mines and toxic waste dumps will need to buy bottled water from some company which has bought up all the local water sources.
"individual responsibility" apparently means, if you can't pay for medical treatment - too bad.
Why would you believe these fantasy talking points would register with any rational thinking person?
If there is any hope for Socialists to further their cause, it might be prudent to be even a tiny bit rational in making arguments.
These absurd claims will get the cause nowhere.
Yes socialism is always such a failure, just look at all the starving Scandinavians.....
Denying the effects of Republican-promoted policies is not rational.
Has the present Sec of Education not been promoting the idea of privatizing education? DeVos "made crystal clear that a top priority will be pushing for alternatives to traditional public schools, otherwise known as “school choice.” How does a low-income parent pay for education when all their income goes for food and shelter

'Conservatives' should be willing to actually look at what is being done in their name and stop attacking opponents as irrational or fanatical or delusional, for they seem to be the ones who better fit the definitions of those adjectives.
LOL
Got to love these liberal BS propaganda articles from the left MSM partners. Click bait for the irredeemably gullible. Read into each article and an explanation was provided as to why certain actions took place.
Not moved by propaganda from the radicals and their partners who blow dog whistles to keep them in line.
People should learn to think and learn for themselves. Marching lock step to the shrill whistles the left blows through their media partners is not something people should settle for.
people . . . who have spent the intervening years swallowing whatever Jesus Juice was offered up by theocratic bunco artists of the Christocentric Right, and gulping down great flagons of barely disguised hatemongering against the targets of the day, all the while voting against their own best interests, now claiming that empowering Donald Trump as the man who will "shake things up" on their behalf was the only choice they had left. You had plenty of choices left.
Yep... Because the poor in the US usually wind up buying cheap, unhealthy, sugar- and calorie-laden foods that give them diabetes. Anyway....Want to lose some unwanted pounds? Just turn to socialism.
Sad how those on the right continue to deny the adverse effects of the policies they love.
