when Hillary attended yale Law, there was a pronounced affirmative action for women. Her husband was top of his class at G-Town and a Rhodes Scholar. Hillary only graduated with distinction in her major-she didn't even make cum laude. She also flunked the DC bar. They believe what they WANT to believe, they even created a white/black issue when the two men were the same color - as I saw news coverage. I also read Lincoln himself said the speech was too flowery and he didn't spend enough time on it. But that was from a short autobiography intended for 8th grade students I read while working at a school. There's no way. My theory is that he was too depressed to write anything more than what little he could muster up.

People can't wait for the facts. Things in the Trayvon Martin case were so insane that I heard a conservative commentator announce that there was breaking news: a boy who was 6 years of age had been found, and he saw Martin pointing a gun at Zimmerman. What can you do but laugh? It was dark out and even the "news report" said that the child was a block or two away. Who would believe that? It's an age in America where you can have a dozen people brutally murdered in a synagogue and the initial reaction from people is "PLEASE let the shooter be a Republican!" or "please let the shooter be Muslim!" - or something to that effect. Then you have the Alex Jones crowd with the second wave of "false flag!" or "it's a hoax!" reactions.

I look at (most) news today like I look at baseball. At this point, it's probably better that we just have a robot call the balls and strikes.

I don't listen to Alex Jones, but I can say that most of the alleged "hate crimes" that have been presented to us as real, usually end up being hoaxes perpetrated by leftists who feel they need the negative publicity to further advance their ideological or political agendas. Also, I have a major problem with people pointing to stories like the Duke Lacrosse team sexual assault hoax as an example of how hate crimes are fake. Rape isn't a hate crime. The Covington Catholic story wasn't a hate crime. People being attacked for political reasons do not qualify as hate crimes. I also don't agree that the media tries to prevent people from researching stories, which is what I think you said, and last, the only thing I agree with you on is that the media you're talking about isn't objective. But that's because you're reading and watching the wrong media if you care about objectivity.
