Anheuser-Busch promises free beer if we hit 70% vax

giphy.gif

Finally...a cause all America can get behind....

But, but, but, ... it's American beer! Why punish yourselfs for success? Is this some kind of Trumpist plot to slow vaccinations? ;)

Cheers and be well. Hope you make your goal.
Evilroddy.

Cheap and worthless marketing ploy of a foreign company.

What are you talking about ?

Anheuser-Busch Companies,
is an American brewing company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. Since 2008, it has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) which also has its North American regional management headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri.

70%??? In Grammar School 72% was passing! We're going to celebrate a failed or poor grade?

Alright, alright, just joking - it's a good thing.

'70 percent' is a national average though, and there will be local pockets of higher vaccination rates, and some Red Trump areas where it may be quite low, like only 30%, or even lower. So, I suspect the Covid is going to mostly be relegated to the low vaccination areas. If I lived in a low vaccination area like that, I'd definitely get my shot(s)!

Deadline is to reach 70% by July the 4th for this to work.

I was happy to read in the above article ( CNN ) that :

CDC data shows 12 states have met the Biden administration's goal to have 70% of adults with at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine. California and Maryland recently joined Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont in reaching that benchmark.

The people that drink this crappy beer are not going to get vaccinated anyway.

I don’t drink beer or any alcoholic beverage.

So I was surprised that that A-B also offered seltzer or a non-alcoholic beverage.

From the article :

The company said in a news release that if the US reaches that goal, "Anheuser-Busch will buy America's next round of beer, seltzer, non-alcoholic beverage or other A-B product."

I like beer.

Not Budweiser.

But its a good idea!

Nuevo Mexico representin'!

Get rid of the republican leadership and we all the sudden stop being last at every ****ing thing.

You'll have to pay me an awful lot to get me to drink a Budweiser. Or rescue me from a desert.

Should have been Corona Extra from the Mexican brewery Cervecería Modelo, which is owned by...... the same company that owns Anheuser-Busch... InBev.
