No he didn't. In fact he's one of the most honest Presidents we've had, you can trust he means what he says and says what he means. I know you aren't used to that having to defend the likes of Clinton and his bunch and now Pelosi and Reid et all getting caught in their own propaganda, but that's the ground you choose to defend.

I have specifically dealt with the statements the Dem leaders made, they will be held accountable just like you guys have tried to hold Bush accountable, the problem is they think they can say anything and get away with and they could pretty much when they were not in power. Well their in there now and the shoe is on the other foot.

You don't get to complain about it and say how bad it is....and then when you get the chance to change it say "nope, keeping it this way...and you can't complain about how bad it is".

Much like I have no problem with them using the Congressional rules to keep the republicans under wraps during the first 100 hours despite their promises of "bi-partisanship, civility, and fairness"...I also don't have a problem with them having a 4 day work week.

What I do have a problem with is that democrats not in office are being hypocritical...yelling at republicans for saying "Hey, this is one of those things you complained about against us!" and telling them to shush, they have no right to say it.

As they say, you can't have your cake (complaining about how one side does things) and eat it too (doing the exact same thing when you're in power, but saying people can't complain about it).

So surely you are not going to support a Dem in the White House while the Dems control both house of the Congress. I expect the DNC to announce they will NOT run a Dem for President else give up one of the house in order to satisfy this principle they have been running on.

:rofl To underline how ridiculous this entire thread's theory is the clock on the 100 hours only started TODAY, 1-9-07...last week's sessions were not bills being passed, they were rules changes and not intended to be part of the first 100 hours.

So today the Dems pass the Anti-Terror bill (299 - 128) they promised. You know the one that calls for enacting all the recommendations of the 9-11 commission. Let's not forget that in the 4 years that the GOP could have passed this bill they did jack sh!t and let it become a campaign promise of the Dems.

In the next few days the GOP are going to feel mighty badly when the Dems pass:

Minimum Wage Increase

Stem Cell Funding

Cut Off Subsidies to Oil Companies (a personal favorite of mine)

A Law that Calls for Negotiating the cost the Govt. pays for PX drugs

Reduce The Cost of Student Loans

Life in America is improving daily thanks to the Democrats. For the first time in 6 years the People are being represented. These bills attack special interests and are all favored by a majority of Americans!
