An AK15 now is no different than a Musket back in the day.

You know, for as much as liberal-minded people distrust law enforcement and all; they sure do love the idea of just handing these guns over to them.

I dont mistrust law enforcement. I'm not a criminal. 🤷‍♂️

I mistrust nitwit Gun Freaks though, with a passion. Everyone should imo.

Not my words...

Lets be honest, a fella would certainly have to have MANURE for his brains if he believes that the general population should have continued free and easy access to firearms.
I mean...you would have to be completely unable to process incoming information.
"Herpidee derp muh FrEeDuMbZ$™!!!"
The fact that such Mass Murder Machines are sold over the counter to any idiot with a pulse in the Gun Nut Nayshun, STILL, is nothing short of disgusting, disturbing and ABSOLUTELY insane IMO.

BAN. THEM. ALL.
(I'll throw a party)

If you think merely being a criminal is the only reason to distrust law enforcement or authority in general, that's ridiculous.

Because everyone that owns guns acts like this. Sorry, but there are plenty of reasonable, level-headed gun owners like me that do not take their M&P 15-22's to Chili's.

This post is what's manure.

This post is what's manure.

Uh huh.

I cant buy a set of lawn darts because they're "too dangerous".
But I can buy an entire pickup truck load of mass murder machines, and a dump truck full of ammunition.
BREATHTAKINGLY STUPID public safety policy, only an idiot would need to be told that IMO.

Could a child could operate a musket?
Good point. Let's think about that one. How many of the gun nuts could operate a musket? And if they could, would be so bored with it within a month they'd give it up due to the amount of work it takes. We'd probably cut it down to half at least.

You actually can buy lawn darts, as of 2020.

I'm sorry the 2nd Amendment is inconvenient to you.

Unrelated, but using a musket against police in Grand Theft Auto is always fun.

It's basically impossible to do.

Doesnt matter if "all" of them act like this, MANY do. You think we should just overlook the idiots and pretend everyone should have a "right" to guns, which NOBODY should have.
Why should normal people be in a position to have to look at such deranged ****wits when they take their kid to buy shoes??
"Derrr I have never received any attention at all for my accomplishments and/or achievements, because I dont have any of those, so here let me take my AR15 and strap it on and go walk around at the mall. People will be looking at me like I'm a BIG brute man, even though I'm 5'5" tall, and my buddy is 6'4" and 150 pounds overweight! I'll get some attention yet!!"
GAWD people in the USA are ****ing dumb imo, by and large. I dont care for it.

I'm sorry the 2nd Amendment is inconvenient to you.

Laughable. The concept that some guy with REALLY bad BO in 1700 wanted everyone in 2023 walking around with a gun in their hand is LAUGHABLY ****ing stupid, not that I kid myself for a millisecond that anyone in the US is about to toggle their brain on. NOT HAPPENING.

Doesnt matter if "all" of them act like this, MANY do.

But you'll lump all gun owners as if we're the same, of course. You know what's lunacy? Pretending as if confiscating all guns is a solution.

I'm sorry the 2nd Amendment inconveniences you. Maybe you'll get over it.

Mindless screeching.

You demonstrate that very well.

Nice strawman, pal.

You know there's this thing called DC v. Heller? It's a landmark Supreme Court opinion. You should go read it.

... there are plenty of reasonable, level-headed gun owners like me that do not take their M&P 15-22's to Chili's.

Most people are reasonable, level-headed gun owners... until they decide to use their gun(s) one day. Then, ON THAT DAY, most of them were not reasonable.

Whether it's because they impulsively committed suicide - a quick way out of their problems that seemed too bad in the moment; or left access to guns too open for a child or roommate or someone else to get to; or accidentally used a gun in unintended way... let alone if they decided to actually injure or kill someone because they thought circumstances warranted it.

"Guns kept in homes are more likely to be involved in a fatal or nonfatal accidental shooting, criminal assault, or suicide attempt than to be used to injure or kill in self-defense."

"For every time a gun in the home was used in a self-defense or legally justifiable shooting, there were four unintentional shootings, seven criminal assaults or homicides, and 11 attempted or completed suicides."

And there are plenty who don't. You are not the reason hair dryers come with a warning to not immerse in water.

What's the point here, exactly?

And how many of these incidents involved legal gun owners? Just because you have a weapon in the home, does not mean you legally obtained said weapon.

And also, you know what's better and actually worthwhile? Addressing these issues head-on. You've got people that use guns to commit suicide. Let's tackle mental health issues, and the societal issues that lead to such behavior.

There are many who are careless with their guns. Let's promote serious gun safety and proper use of these weapons.

You cannot solve the problem of people wanting to commit suicide - every society has it. This is just human. There is no magic wand here. Sometimes people go into depression. Then, they either have a quick solution, or they don't. You cannot solve it by just waving a magic wand.

Same with "carelessness". Humans are often careless. That's just part of being human. It makes about as much sense as handing everyone a nuclear weapon and then promote safety on using it.

All these pretend solutions is something NRA came up with to deflect from the obvious solution practiced by vast majority if 1st world countries; i.e. severely limiting gun ownership.

Is an AK15 some kind of new firearm?
Never heard of that one.........
Hahahaha.

I am amazed by your "ability" to ring so much merriment out of someone's blatant typo. You must never get bored!

HEY LOOK! That ant just dropped its leaf! LOL MAGA!

Your claim of “Not my words…“ is BS since you alone used “AK15” (which is a full-auto Russian gun) and changed 1791 to ”back in the day”.

Since semi-automatic rifles (like the AR-15) are guns, typically used for lawful purposes, they are not different than muskets back in the day.

1. The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home. Pp. 2–53.

And you never get tired of moronic trolling either, so I guess it evens out.

Never said anything about magic. And never said anything akin to stopping all suicides. Of course that's not going to happen. It's about diminishing the rate of suicides.

An AR-15 is not akin to a nuclear weapons. Ridiculous comparison.

I don't care about the NRA. I hate the NRA.

Most Western nations do not have a 2nd Amendment equivalent, and do not have a gun culture like the USA. I fail to see why people continue to bring this up as if it's some sort of solution for America.
