George Stephanopoulos gave his unvarnished take Sunday on an ABC/Washington Post poll predicting a Donald Trump landslide over President Joe Biden in 2024. (Watch the video below.)
“This poll is just brutal for President Biden,” Stephanopoulos said on “This Week.” He added he had difficulty processing some indicators of Trump’s strength in the survey.
The new poll showed that Biden would lose to Trump, 49% to 42%. What’s more, 18% of the majority of American voters who believe Trump should be held criminally accountable for attempting to overturn the 2020 election said they would vote for Trump anyway.........

By decline into fascism, you imply that America was less fascist in the past. When was that? During Jim Crow? During the 1990s and early 2000s when the overwhelming public view as that marriage was between a man and a woman? When Reagan was President? When one of the Bushes was President? Nixon's time? Clinton's time? During the Vietnam War?

I think it would be a mistake to put Trump back into office.
I would have gladly given him a second term, and voter for him, but
I do not think the Trump who we will get in 2024 would be the same the Trump had he won in 2020.
My opinion only, but I think his ego would get the best of him, and it would alter how effective he could be.

Ah, the party of values. Republicans are killing this country with their hypocrisy. The 'values' folks would put a convicted felon into the highest office in america. What's that say about the gop?

I would have gladly given him a second term, and voter for him, but
I do not think the Trump who we will get in 2024 would be the same the Trump had he won in 2020.

Trump will not be permitted to reenter the White House, IMO.

And if I am wrong about that, and he does reenter the White House the Left will burn the country to ground. If anyone thought 2017-2020 was bad, 2025 to 2029 with Trump would make his first term look positively collegial and cooperative.

Just goes to show you how bad Biden really is. A significant portion of the population would vote for Trump over Biden even though they think he's a criminal.

It's sad that these are probably our only two choices.

I am willing to bet that if Trump is able to mount a lead that the left just can't counter with "democracy" he will somehow die in a bizarre gardening accident before ever stepping foot in the WH again.
