If the alarming covid increase stats aren't resonating, how about some pictures? Don't be disingenuous and bleat about death rates. Death isn't the only measure of the damage caused by Covid.

The USAs sweaty groin area, the south, is completely covered.

The vaccine isn't totally effective. People are ignoring the VAERS data and the Yellow Card data in the UK just because it's unverified, but there are hundreds of thousands of reports. They're ignoring the data in Israel, the UAE, Iceland, Seychelles, and other countries that have over 80% vaccination rates. People are still getting ill from the virus, just not dying -- which is great, but they are still contributing to viral mutation.

It's because we are vaccinating everyone for an old version of the virus that is no longer as relevant. We're preventing severe illness but that's it. This is a policy disaster and they can only blame unvaccinated people for so long. Everyone is contributing to the rise in variants, vaccinated or unvaccinated.

So, preventing severe illness is a bad thing then?

No not at all. I think it's good that severe illness is being curbed. I just don't agree with a lot of the vaccine fascism I'm seeing, like blaming the unvaccinated for the virus mutating when we already know based on the data in other countries that vaccinated people can spread the virus.

And now vaccine mandates are looming, which I also don't agree with. The vaccines never would have made it through approval under normal times. Emergency laws made it so. I think we should vaccinate those willing and practice risk tolerance for everything else. We don't need to tear up the constitution to get this handled.

I sent the study from Israel to all my family members, the 3rd week of July that showed only 38% efficacy. Finally the CDC has released it's study showing virtually the same.

Folks just don't pay attention.

Masks should have been reinstated right then and there.

That's exactly what vaccines are supposed to do. Guess you did not know.

Guess what, against the original strain the vaccine provided 95% protection from infection. Guess you did not know that.

Peace

I was rude by saying that I am guessing you did not know something?... Well, I apologize... At least I did not call you a joke...

You're creating drama where there wasn't any in this thread. Stop now.

Huh? That depends on what you mean by "protection from infection". Vaccines make sure that when you are infected you have a better chance fighting it off. Indeed 95% efficacy for original strain or so, and much lower (but still far above 0%) for delta.

I mean what I say. There were virtually no break through infections, systematic or asymptomatic with the original strain in reference to mRNA vaccines.

The breakthrough cases we are seeing now, which are in more than half of the people exposed, are virtually all symptomatic. Non symptomatic is but 2% at latest estimate.

I don't know that we can blame mutations on the unvaccinated necessarily. We can blame the hospitals in some areas of the country being overwhelmed by COVID cases on the unvaccinated, however.

Blame the hospitals?

One thing's for sure, up until the last few weeks, CALIFORNIA managed the pandemic pretty well compared to most states.
REASON: Governor Newsom who although guilty of hypocritical optics, did enforce mask mandates and ensured that the vaccines were available almost EVERYWHERE.

What we should blame on the unvaccinated is our hospitals being overwhelmed by the numbers of seriously ill patients.
