The FAA originally said that it was up to the airlines to decide what to do about the threat, but now it looks like it is a real official ban.

Wouldn't a better analogy be the Japanese? Israel wasn't looking for this war any more than the Americans were looking for Pearl Harbour.

I admit that from a safe sofa or as a Palestinian one could say that or might even see it that way. But that is really very simplistic, don't you think? It is far more complicated than that and you must know that.

Another front in this war.

Hamas knows -- and Obama is playing his part -- that they cannot seriously hurt Israel through military means so they are attacking them where they can hurt them the most, their economy.
