I only see evidence that elements of the GOP professional class who never liked him in the first place are saying things like this. The base still overwhelmingly loves Trump. Also, Hutchinson did not have any appreciable access to Trump that I can see. And the people who had direct access to him to know about what she claims to be talking about, or already saying that it’s bullshit.

If you bothered to read the links you cited, you would see that it is readily apparant that an argument did take place. Whether it involved trump trying to grab the steering wheel isn’t actually important.

But since it’s the only straw trump losers have, they’re totally obsessed with it. It presents a handy excuse for ignoring all the other facts and testimony involving trump’s insurrection scheme and the cabal that was involved in it.

Yeah! It's a propaganda show promoting the Democrat agenda for the midterms and, perhaps, even 2024. Since Democrats have absolutely nothing else to run on they are going with the "We hate Trump" platform that earned them 15.4 million votes more than Hillary got. With that kind of success why not go with the full blown "Execute the Romanovs" plan. It worked for Lenin so why would it not work for Cheney and Kinzinger?

This is not a jury. This is not a trial. It's a hearing. You do know they happen all the time on the Hill, yes? I mean, when they are not hosting keggers.

It's not a "hearing". It's Stalinist propaganda. A hearing would include committee members with conflicting political interests and this committee expressly prohibited that function.

The Secret Service, through the Department of Homeland Security Office of Legislative Affairs, notified the committee Tuesday afternoon that it will make the agents involved available to testify under oath, the official said. The agents are also prepared to say under oath that the incident itself did not occur.

None of that indicates it didn't happen, if I put a few quotation marks in the second article's description you'll see what I mean:

Now, that's not the same thing as saying it DID happen, but certainly it makes me wonder what Engle would testify to if directly asked about the story Hutchinson described Ornato telling about his experience that day.
