Actress lends 'Precious' star power to Maryland same-sex marriage struggle

he ongoing struggle to ensure that Gay Americans have the same rights as everyone else has a new warrior. Academy Award-winning actress Monica Imes Hicks, a Baltimore-area native better known as Mo'nique, star of the movie "Precious," has come out with a brief video that supports the concept of no longer treating LGBT Americans like second class citizens with some sort of contagious infection that immediately spreads to children.
