About Trump's Parade

The military parade scheduled for June 14th is.....

  • Total voters
    83
  • Poll closed .
The parade is about Trump.
Cuz the media wants it to be the media stealing the thunder from the military
He took control and it is about him.
he's the Commander in Chief therefore he's in control. He took control in January.

It's only about him to people who are so obsessed with him they can't think of anything else
Tell me the army wanted it just like Trump planned it.
He's the Commander in Chief. Meaning he makes the plans this happened in January
They bloody well didn't and don't want it to be a huge fascistic parade. Most people in the military feckin hate parades.
It's for the us to celebrate the army. Your obsession with Donald Trump is your own psychosis and it's not about Donald Trump to anybody who doesn't share your psychosis.

Historically Canada has been our closest ally and only an a**hole of a president would jeopardize that. Hard to think more of his supporters.
If Canada wants to leave this alliance because they don't have a sense of humor they lose.

A lot of angry, unhinged types of replies on this thread. Over a parade, no less.
In an era where many tens of thousands of Americans have lost their jobs to mindless slash and burn cuts to government spending, an expensive parade seems like a very bad idea.

Tens of millions of dollars WASTED.

Just to give trump a woody so he can be like Kim Jong Trump. .

Sorry, sell that somewhere else. This is just stupid waste.

He's the Commander in Chief. Of course he's putting on the parade for the army.

Why wouldn't he?
He's wasting 45M taxpayer dollars to throw a Big Boy Birthday Boondoggle Parade for himself.

We have 79 years of evidence that El Taco Gordo only does anything out of self interest. And he's made his contempt of soldiers clear.

Looking like it’s going to be wet if the weather forecast is to be believed last I saw🤷‍♀️
Maybe we can get the geo engineering folks to run their chem trail ops and make get rid of those angry, unhinged, sore loser, liberal clouds who don't know who won the election. DC hasn't banned the practice, right?
:)

It seems like the criticisms are Trump's in charge of course he is that happened to January.

My point is this. I can fully understand some of our citizens not liking the parade idea, but do they realize Trump has the right to throw a parade? It's not like he's throwing one every week.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I submit to you, a more apt term: "El Taco Fofo"

Do you realize you have the right to your opinion but at the same time realize our president isn't doing anything unconstitutional by having a parade?

Furthermore, there are many Americans who are enthusiastic about the parade and would disagree with you.

Some Americans are enthusiastic, as seen in posts on X, where users describe the event as “epic” and an “amazingly patriotic spectacle”. These sentiments highlight excitement for the parade’s scale, featuring 6,700 soldiers, 150 vehicles, 50 aircraft, and historical uniforms, as well as its celebration of the Army’s legacy. Who said anything about unconstitutional? I didn't.

I said it's a waste of money, a naked display of hypocrisy when El Taco Gordo's is gutting social services and regulatory agencies in the name of cutting government waste, and a ridiculous bit of egotism by a desperately insecure man in need of validation.

Don't leave out the 2 mules and a dog.

And yet we haven't seen any enthusiastic parade spectacle fans here....just some who want to make like it's no bid deal....

In an era where many tens of thousands of Americans have lost their jobs to mindless slash and burn cuts to government spending,
In a country where the government does with the people want that's what they voted for remember Donald Trump won the popular vote.
an expensive parade seems like a very bad idea.
Went through it I don't think a celebration for the army costs as much as oppressive bureaucracy. And it's not an ongoing cost so no.
Tens of millions of dollars WASTED.
Me after slashing hundreds of billions still what we voted for
Just to give trump a woody so he can be like Kim Jong Trump.
If that's a bit bizarre.
.

Sorry, sell that somewhere else. This is just stupid waste.
That's like me we don't need to you're just a bitter because democracy happened. And you're trying to wedge in any kind of criticism that you can the fact is there are indeed valid criticisms but you wouldn't know anything about them you don't want to listen

Now he has a right to throw a parade?
Yes.
Good grief.
Stop complaining about the parade. Don't like it, don't watch it.

A U.S. president has always had the authority to order a parade, including a military one, as part of their role as commander-in-chief of the armed forces (Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution).

The thing is, I know I have a right to bitch about Taco wasting 45M to stroke his ego.

Don't like it? Tough.

I want to read just one post where someone against this parade explains to me why he can't.
Dude has been crying for a Russian style military parade since his first term.
This is nothing but a wannabe tough-guy ego stroke.
