Should be an interesting debate as it will be one of the ones most aimed at trying to affect a specific primary. We could see a bit of movement in the Iowa polls after it and perhaps begin to get a clearer vision of who the real front runners will be.
 
He should be there but oddly they're saying 6 candidates on some news sources.
 
I have no idea who Jon Huntsman is, but I'm curious why he was banned.
 
I was watching the time lapse of the stage being built, only 6 podiums were built.

If he was banned, I'm sure he would of wrote something about it on his twitter or given a response. But Jon also not really competing in Iowa so who knows if he declined. He declined the Mike Huckabee forum as well. Supposedly trump is going to make a surprise appearance which may of had a factor to play.

:D He's not banned. I was parodying the Ron Paul people. See, I understand that some times a person has no business at a debate that's for a very targeted audience.

In this case, Jon Huntsman is polling at less than 5% in Iowa so he was, rightfully, not invited to this debate

Agreed. I already know their answers to every questions, and it's a Saturday night - I have a life. Here, let me predict this one:

Foreign Policy: Barack Obama was wrong. We should have helped this country, but not that one.
The Economy: Barack Obama was wrong with the stimulus and he hurts the economy by existing.
National Debt: Never tax anything! Cut all the departments!
HealthCare: Barack Obama was wrong!
Guns: Barack Obama was wrong even though he has, if anything, relaxed gun laws.
God: He should have thanked God for his Thanksgiving speech and his War on Christmas is out of control!

Let me know if I missed anything.

he and Gingrich seem good on the fly. it's tough to pull out of a surprise question like that.

the President Obama / whoever debates should be pretty good.

Yeah I believe Newt would just wish they would shut up about him supporting basically Obama's healthcare bill in the 90's.
