Nice. I think all of my fondest memories of college were related to ****ing with people who had a "cause". Didn't matter what cause it was, I just went out of my way to piss them off. Even if I had some inclination to agreeing with them.
Same here, my whole philosophy behind it is my live and let live nature, I cannot stand it when people try to bully their fellow citizens into adopting their stances and ways just to give them some kind of validation, or otherwise nag people into their way of life, last I checked this country is about liberty, freedom, and pursuing happiness, this is why I detest the typical activist.
I ****ed with the anarchists, even though I'm borderline anarchist myself.
I share some ideals with anarchists and libertarians, but the extreme of both philosophies can result in bad things, I don't personally care about people being completely free, as long as they do not hurt anyone, the extreme anarchists that I usually see are people who always want to **** **** up and create chaos, that doesn't tarnish the basic ideals of the philosophy in my mind as maximum liberty should be sought out, but it does remind me of the consequences prevalent in allowing bad people to act at will.
I was against going to war in Iraq, but I always made sure to piss off anti-war protesters who approached me.
I'm not pro or anti Iraq war, I am mainly an optimist, but also a realist and knew that eventually there was going to be action in that country, we just left too many loose ends in the early nineties.
If I would **** with people I actually agreed with in principle, you can just imagine what I did to the one's that I actually disagreed with.
That would be fun to watch!
