If you've spent much time listening to AM radio 'conservative' talk show hosts, you've probably heard them complaining about how well illegal aliens are treated. We're tole they get free cell phones and all manner of 'perks' when they cross the border. We're made to believe that they have it good. We're told they're treated better than American citizens are treated.

That brought to mind a question.

Have there been any instances of an American citizen claiming to be an illegal alien in order to better his/her lot in life? That would lend a degree of credence to their palaver, right?

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

The Democrats are working hard to ban FOX.

Now they want to remove AM radio receivers in all automobiles. (Those conservative talk shows allow criticism of Democratic policies.)

Finally, the Internet will be purged of all conservative views. (Hope Mr. Musk fights until the end.)

The AC electric motors in cars make it almost impossible for AM radios to get a clear signal.

I love that you think you are a moderate......

Right wing radio, beginning with Rush, has made their living stoking outrage among the Republican base.

And a very good living it is.

Thank you.... I needed a good laugh this morning.
Electric car makers take issue with am radio NOT because of conservative am radio shock jockeys as you so ignorantly posted.
Elon's Tesla motors said it best: "Specifically, electric vehicle drivetrains produce electromagnetic waves that interfere with the frequency of AM radio signals, which operate at a similar wavelength to the electric drivetrain."
The stupid conspiracy theories that conservatives come up with ..... Just the pinnacle of ignorant garbage talk .

Wrong. AM receivers cause electromagnetic interference with new engines. If you want to hear AM, you use your phone and bluetooth it to your car stereo.

Stop spreading bullshit.

I don't notice many rich Republican pundits choosing to join the ranks of the poor to claim the "cushy" benefits, either.

Maybe Cons should start moving forwards, instead of backwards....

Until the Cubs and the Bears get on FM radio, I’m absolutely opposed to this.

My new Volvo doesn’t have AM. It’s a pain in the ass to listen to a ballgame now.

There are still AM stations? 🤣
Only talk shows, sports broadcasts and religious programming it seems.

Even FM broadcasts are sketchy. Many have been bought up and have a corporate broadcast from one location instead of local programming.

Maybe Crutchfield or Newegg might have a solution.

There is a reason they call it "Ancient Modulation"

Hi, Kelby.

Some are still stoking fear and hatred. One in particular, Mr. Jesse Kelly [Self-identified as Dr. Kelly,] is working the old soil once plowed by the late Senator Joseph McCarthy. It's amusing to hear all about the communist menace again. I still remember the McCarthy hearings. I was able to catch a good part of them while I was in the service.

I’m pretty sure electric motors work the same way in both, so thats a lame excuse.

The difference is probably five bucks of shielding.
They explain it better than I could.

Hi, Lisa.

AM radio in my area [NYC] carries many stations broadcasting in languages other than English. There's also a listener-supported public radio station.

AM radio at night can reach for over 1,000 miles. The band comes alive after sunset with many additional stations.

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

I haven't listened to AM is likely 45 years.

I am a supporter of 2x FM stations, A NEOhio NPR station and 91.3 The Summit in Akron that is affiliated with Akron Public schools.

Thank you. That means a lot right now.

Right.

Some EVs have it. And it’s not a problem.

Other EVs drop it and blame the electric motor.

And you still think removing am radio from electric vehicles is all some grand conspiracy to deprive you of your beloved am radio conservative shock jocks....
This is by far one of the stupidest contentions I've heard in a long time.
Well done!

Hi, Crakhobarbie.

'Conservative' or, if you wish, Republican political palaver is becoming funnier and funnier, or perhaps sillier and sillier.

It's also become very nasty. I place in evidence the talk shows heard in my area [NYC] and hosted by Mr. Sidney Rosenberg and Mr. Mark Levin. They are becoming unlistenable even for me, and I'm willing to cut extremists a lot of slack in order to keep track of a wide range of opinions.

Regards, stay safe 'n well.
