A noose was found in Bubba Wallace's garage stall, NASCAR says

But he's the best Democrats gave to offer, which is just pitiful.

It is pitiful, but given that Trump is 98 percent certain to lose, he's far better for the right than any of the others. And should he survive to the next election (which is very iffy) he would easily be defeated.

What nonsense. A pull loop on a garage door only looks like a noose to those who see racism everywhere and anywhere, even where it does not exist. Those loops had hung in those garages for years and no one saw them as a hangmans noose. Put a black man in the vicinity and suddenly we have a hangmans noose.
Hysterical leftists are finding nooses everywhere, and then getting disappointed,. https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...2741b8-b104-11ea-98b5-279a6479a1e4_story.html

Democrats should be looking ahead to 2024. They obviously didn't give this one much thought.

2024 will be an interesting year no matter what. I don't think either of this year's candidates will be running (Trump can't, and I think Biden won't be able to). Republicans will bring many of the candidates from 2016 - a group with many good, qualified candidates. Democrats really haven't had any good, qualified candidates in either 2016 or 2020.

Given their tendency to 'keep people in line' and 'wait your turn' - some of the old guard really needs to step aside and let new leaders emerge. Biden/Sanders/Pelosi/Schumer/Warren/Bloomberg, etc. won't inspire people in 2024 any more than they did in 2020.

As NASCAR and the FBI have stated, this rope in this stall only was fashioned to look like a noose.

Yes, I imagine the choices will also include Nikki Haley and Tom Cotton, as well as many of those who ran this year.

Interesting the FBI showed it to no one, and returned it to NASCAR who also won't show it to the public.

What are they hiding? Anyone want to state the obvious?
It's a piece of rope designed to open the garage door more easily.

The Republicans seem to have more waiting in the wings than the Femocrats. The only younger Democrats making an impact are AOC and friends, and they're not national material.

I'll not be called a racist. It's a profound insult. Those who use the term should expect a similar insult in response - and not whine about it.

I've been called racist more times than I can count. If you oppose affirmative action-you will be called a racist. If you point out that blacks kill more blacks in a month than the Klan has in a decade-same thing.

You're correct, but that doesn't make it eight. As has been noted before, the overuse of the word, and what we're seeing here from Bubba, makes it harder to identify genuine racism. It's an ugly term and accepted on this board and elsewhere too easily.

NASCAR released an image of the garage pull found in African-American driver Bubba Wallace’s Talladega garage after investigators determined that there was no hate crime involved. The rope, which was tied as a noose, had been there since at least October 2019, before Wallace took the garage, the FBI concluded. Wallace, appearing on CNN Tuesday evening, said he had never seen a garage pull tied in that manner. Several people on social media have accused Wallace of faking the incident but Wallace said he did not see the noose or file the report.

NASCAR President Steve Phelps said Thursday that the organization should have included the word “alleged” when they first put out a statement on the “heinous act” but it was the only rope fashioned that way and NASCAR was genuinely concerned for Wallace’s safety. NASCAR checked all 29 tracks where they race, and 1,684 garage stalls, and found only 11 pulldown ropes tied in a knot, and just one tied as a noose—the one in Wallace’s garage. Phelps said it was now apparent that the noose had been there for a while but no one reacted negatively to it, which was troubling. “We pointed towards an alleged hate crime. For it to be coincidental, it’s difficult,” he reportedly said.

Phelps said Wallace had been subjected to a lot of hate since speaking out on the Black Lives Matter movement, and NASCAR had upped their security for him. “He’s done nothing but represent this sport with courage, class and dignity,” Phelps said

Fun to see you deny reality yet again.

It is interesting to see the silence of these guys, or is it just them ignoring the picture that Nascar put out today?

I think most people are 'silent' because according to the FBI and NASCAR, this thing had run its course. But now...hold on a second.

IF the picture NASCAR released today is the picture that was found and NOT the door pull that has been in place for several years...why did the FBI drop their investigation? Why did NASCAR call everything off and say it was all just a big misunderstanding? Why isn't the investigation including the video of the garage area still being examined as evidence? Why did Bubba Wallace get hung out to dry yesterday by NASCAR?

THIS is what was represented on Tuesday...

and NASCAR didnt dispute that. NASCAR let Bubba go out and kinda make a fool of himself.

NOW, NASCAR releases this...

noose-talladega-062520-nascar-ftrjpg_r8zhyhuly5l91fichdkou7f6e.jpg

But says there was no hate crime, no ill will, no foul play or ill intent. The FBI allegedly sees THAT as opposed to what we were initially shown and says NOPE...nothing to see here folks...

Come on now.......

You cant tell me that if that second image is legit that NASCAR<and the FBI just drops this...nor should they. And yet....they did.

And BTW...where the hell is that picture supposed to have been taken from? Its DAMN sure not taken from the #4 Stall...the one assigned to Bubba Wallace.

Looks like the haters gotta backtrack now.

NASCAR releases image of noose found in Bubba Wallace's garage, says concern was 'real'

There is literally no way THAT photo that NASCAR just released is of the door pull it still maintains was tied in a noose.

NASCAR has just **** the bed. THAT is not the pull rope previously pictured. Its simply not. The pull rope previously pictured does not have a 4 " or so lenght of rope stickig out of the top. You can see that for yourself. Additionally...that picture NASCAR presented is NOT taken from the #4 stall at Talladega. There is no dividing wall between the #4 and #5 stalls. Perhaps NASCAR is trying to provide cover and showing an image meant to look like what was seen and give Bubba a little cover. But what they have offered is very clearly a lie.

But...

ASSUMING its not a lie. ASSUMING that is the actual noose and it is NOT a pull rope for the door...why did the FBI lie and say that what was found was the pull rope fro the door and it has been there for at least a year? Why did the FBI and NASCAR drop their investigation?

But thats a helluvan assumption, because that image may be of a noose...but it is not from the #4 stall at Talladega.

Lynching is the extrajudicial murder of an untried suspect, usually by a mob and often by hanging. In the United States, 4,743 lynchings were recorded between 1882 and 1968, according to the NAACP. Of those murdered people, 3,446 were black men, women and children — about 73 percent. Research by the Equal Justice Initiative, which created the lynching memorial, found a different number of black victims: about 4,400 between 1877 and 1950.

Hell, Blacks kill more blacks than that every year.
