Sorry, still doesn't explain what relevance it had to the conversation. Are you admitting that it was an insult but claiming you were merely assuming he(and apparently everyone else who ridicules your manly ideas) is effeminate? See, I'm still trying to figure out how it isn't hypocritical of you to call me a bigot while you label people you don't know based on minimal evidence. At least it is clearly established that Romney is an active Mormon. Therefore I have reason to believe that he subscribes to the dogma concerning the Garments(magic underwear). I'm just interested in seeing what logical chain leads you to believe a black man who collects garbage for a living would be effeminate. If you had the least courage of your convictions you would admit you not only got caught in this biased generalization but were stupid enough to try to turn it and claim victim status.

Coming in to defend a fellow wingnut? Yeah, I'm the one solely responsible for this back and forth. Can always tell a right winger, they decry people who are unemployed being labeled as victims but they wrap themselves in the same status the moment they start to lose an argument. Be interesting to see a study of later political affiliation as related to the kids who took care of disputes themselves and the ones who always ran to the teacher to intervene.

actually, his income likely puts him in the 4th quintile, so he isn't part of the 47% at all.
 

I was a mailman for a little while just before the USPS mail crunch cut hours an unbelievable amount. In classes before us newbs hit the streets they told us that we'd see some freeky **** and to expect it. I didn't run into any but some of the long termers there had some stories to tell.

Wow, and just a few years ago the republicans trotted out Joe the plumber to say the exact same thing. Like always, it is Ok when a republican does it, but when the dems have normal people say stuff it is a horrible crime and they are scraping the bottom of the barrel.

however, much like I never gave a damn what joe the plumber had to say, i am pretty sure there is no real insight being offered by romney's garbage man unless he has some copies of Romney's tax returns he threw away, or maybe some home video of him using one of the 47 percent as a pinata.

Not everyone is a superstar, some need a bit of help to get going in the right direction. Only an insecure kid is so easily insulted.
