Without a doubt, all major Chicago sports franchises are entering a "golden age." The drafting of Derrick Rose, the rise of Geovany Soto, Jay Cutler calling signals for the Bears, and two, get that, two surefire hot shots manning lines for the Blackhawks, the next 10 years of Chicago Sports look to be something of greatness. Potentially:mrgreen:

Barring significant injury, there is no sports city in the nation that possesses as much young talent in all four major sports. Boston has eclipsed their peak, LA has yet to put together a local football club, and New York is in a bit of a funk.

ESPN did an close up on Derrick Rose, so i will allow the piece to speak for itself: Scoop Jackson: Conversation with Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose - ESPN Chicago

Sammy D goaltends at the end.

Next up: Geovany Soto

Jesus Christ. Jay Cutler is good, but he's not....well... Jesus Christ.

I actually wouldn't mind if Chicago were to take over the sports industry for a while. I am tired of listening about the Sox(Red) and the Yankees and the Celtics, and the Giants, and the Jets fans on draft day, and everything that is east coast centric on Sportscenter.

The Packers will have to beat the Bears and the Cubs aren't allowed to win a World Series, but other than that.

Go Chicago!!!:2razz:
