A high "bang for the buck" approach to abating illegal immigration

You just love your buckets, don't you?

I'll just respond to one of your pieces of ****:

The division isn't Trump's fault. It already has been violent...and he wasn't even President then. The Trump hating media stokes the fire.

You know what? A lot of people, me included, learned exactly nothing new about who trump IS from the media.

He has an average intellect and a lot of charisma. His daddy's money and his daddy's connections. He is largely ignorant of things that don't pertain to him. He is a braggart and a filanderer. If he lies to his wife he lies to you.

Its kind of precious that you apparently believe he's some kind of genius who will do what cannot be done. With the power of the pout.

Which is why the left end of the Dem party has to learn a word with regard to ICE and that word is repurposing.

The demorats don't want to upset "job creators" any more than the republicants do. Keep kidding yourself.

Based on that, if I and others in this thread are kidding ourselves about dealing with issues that drive unauthorized immigration then who the heck is Trump kidding with his Wall? When you look at what will turn out to be the cost of this stupid thing compared to the current CBP budget it would be the equivalent of a general making his most forward AND most reward defensive position, the same damned position!

Our ex-border unauthorized immigrant issues are now entirely focused in four countries 2,000 miles away in Central America and Trump wants us to believe that we should declare a National Emergency, take land on the border through eminent domain and build this damned monument to stupidity on the thin logic that his wall is going to be meaningful, efficient or cost effective or even address at all the actual unauthorized immigration issues we have as opposed to those his out of their wits base now imagines.

I suppose we should just ignore the demand that drives drug addiction and like ostriches with our heads stuck in the sand insist that we are going to control it from the supply side.

Do the people that support this nonsense of Trump's Wall or barrier, WHATEVER, realize what his National Emergency nonsense means? It means it has suddenly dawned on Donald Duck that if he ever had any chance of building this monument to stupidity it was during his first two years in office when he had GOP majorities in both House and Senate. Instead of using that time to mount an effective effort to actually get the funding he "appeared" to want he simply railed away as if this was still his 2016 campaign and as if the same howling at the moon he did to get elected would actually do anything that represents the actual process of getting the funding.

Donald howls at the moon and only howls at the moon because that is what got him to Office and he hopes it will keep him in Office. If howling about pink elephants orbiting the moon had been what he had been howling about he would care as much about pink elephants orbiting the moon as he does about his stupid wall.

Trump is all about providing himself a visual "win" and saying that a few miles of the Great Wall Of Trump (all he is ever going to get built) as a campaign promise kept. Trump, like most in congress, has no intention of denying "job creators" the lowest possible labor costs. At the first sign of inflation (driven by higher wages/prices) interest rates would be raised, the magical "Trump" economic growth rate would slow and federal debt service costs (and thus the higher federal deficit) would soar.
