Whether you like the Colbert Report or not doesn't matter. The only purpose of this thread is just to show people that not every illegal immigrant is a terrible person out to do nothing but just steal tax-payer dollars.

The video hardly reaches 6 minutes, you won't kill yourself watching it, and if it helps, Colbert hardly makes any witty remarks.

The story of these Hispanics is quite incredible, and as the show will point out, they were illegal.

I've seen too many threads painting every single illegal immigrant as a gang-member or murderer or thief, the reality is, some of these people have A LOT to offer to the U.S. This is exactly where my dad came from, starting out as illegal and rising to become a huge support for the U.S, these people really do love the U.S.

I'll be the first to admit that there are some bad illegal immigrants out there, but you have to realize at some point, that some of these people aren't just out to hurt the U.S in any way.

I understand that, but despite clown boy saying that it's hilariously easy to get in the U.S these Hispanics were denied even after they won the challenge for the underground robot and beat schools like MIT.

It wasn't until a state official after luckily hearing about them and reviewing their case did he give them a green card to enter the U.S.

They may be illegal because it simply is hard to enter the U.S. However, they aren't bad, but conservatives paint them all as bad and that's how conservatives brainwash themselves in order to just say "DEPORT! NEVER CHANGE IMMIGRATION" without even giving them a chance.

That's why they're "still illegal"

Alright bit boy, let's try calming down. This piece of **** traitor gave these men green cards, one then went on to serve in Iraq. This traitor gave America a good soldier who was dutiful and loyal only to America. Not to mention, this piece of **** traitor gave the U.S minds so brilliant that in high school they defeated MIT in an engineering contest.

Who knows, maybe he wasn't a traitor, his action certainly gave America a great boost rather than harm it.

No one on the "anti-illegal immigration" side actually thinks that. We just recognize that illegals have broken the law and that strong borders and sound LEGAL immigration policies are intrinsically tied to a nation's sovereignty.

This sort of tacit propaganda has only one goal: evoke an emotional response. It's a strategy designed to make one feel sorry for illegal immigrants as well as elicit a feeling of guilt, thereby siding with illegal immigrants and undermining our nation's sovereignty.
