72 Bahraini individuals deprived of nationality for taking part in protests

Not a Bahraini any longer: the Manama government has revoked the citizenship of 72 people for taking part in protests against Al Khalifa rulers.
The 72 have been convicted of QUOTE harming the interests of the kingdom in demonstrations that started in 2011. Officials say revoking the nationality of the convicts is part of measures to QUOTE fight the danger of terrorist threats. Bahrain is rocked by protests against the long rule of the Al Khalifa dynasty. Manama forces have crushed dissent using force. Scores of people have lost their lives and hundreds injured since protests broke out.

I have a feeling that Iran will start funding and training armed insurgence there in the near future.

First iran will want ISIS gone, and then it will count on the protesters in Bahrain to get frustrated with the results of peacefull protest.

Iran does have a deep vested interest in Bahrain, but I dont think they will go so far to train armed insurgence, especially with the military and US interests in the region, especially with the Syrian Civil War and the Iraqi Civil War going on.

Bahrian is not a threat like Iraq can be. If anything Bahrian would be a old historical gain than some sort of purposeful gain. Hell much of the opposition is secular in nature.

Why don't you do the Hemingway thing and go fight with the freedom fighters and make the rebellion work? Maybe you can grab the power then and do the DemSocialism thing.
Or are you pleading the idea we should as a nation support the rebellion and see what happens? Let's not see Syria cleaned up first?
