7 Signs You Might Be Living Beyond Your Means

They need to spend a couple of weeks as an intern with the homeless people.
 
Some of those things are good common sense. Others I don't really agree with.

The part about you should never get a car loan for more than 3 years I think is stupid. I get the point about not getting 6 or 7 year loans just so you can afford the payments, but 3 years seems a very arbitrary cutoff, when most cars will easily last 10-15.

I also disagree with the part about getting only a 15 year mortgage. It's a smart financial move sure, but getting a 30 year mortgage doesn't mean you're living beyond your means.
