Whatever Mr. Obama's religious views are, its a most easy thing to witness that he has not studied Christian Doctrine in his life, as judged by the prima facie evidences offered in his own errant opinions concerning Christianity. Who's Christianity should we teach? Really Mr. President? How about the Christian Doctrine outlined in the Scriptures? (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
Its very clear, as He calls Jesus a Radical, when He is documented as being the only man to ever live from the cradle to the grave and not break one OLD LAW precept, as He lived and Died as a practitioner of the Mosaic Law, (Born of a Woman, Born under the LAW-- Gal. 4:4), Yet He sinned not. as Christianity never came into effect until after the Old Testament was fulfilled, with the Christ being the Last man to live and die under that covenant, with His death the Old Law was nailed to the Cross (Gal. 2:14-17). If that is not the ultimate CONSERVATIVE, there is no such animal.
Now, we see the Prez. quoting OLD TESTAMENT LAW, when in reality the Old Testament was drafted specifically for the Nation of Biblical Israel, (Deut. 5:2-3),not one precept exists that involves the service of one gentile, especially...Christians, who live under the New Testament of Christ. What ever he is.....he certainly is not a Bible Believing Christian.
The old law served its purpose as documented quite unambiguously. (It was to be used as an example of God's righteousness, Biblical Israel was made distinct among the world nations through the precepts of the old law and it prepared the WORLD, et.al, especially the gentile nations for the NEW COVENANT -- Deut. 4:5-8) When anyone actually "STUDIES" the bible and does not listen to the OPINION of someone that is supposedly a TEACHER, its very clear, God had 3 laws in effect at different historical times during the Biblical Record. The Patriarchal, The Mosaical, and The Law of Christ known as the NEW TESTAMENT, which ushered in the LAST DAYS OF MANKIND and is to be the last covenant between man and God. (Acts 2:16-35).
Can we then simply ignore the Old Testament? Of course not, it is our common history and is to serve as our schoolmaster to demonstrate that Jesus indeed was the Christ of Prophecy. (John 5:39,46-47, Luke 24:7, Belief in the Old gives witness to the New Law.....The old law provides examples and mistakes that we are to learn from, even through God Husbanded (CULTIVATED) the nation of ISRAEL, they still could not obey its precepts because they constantly choose not to, thus a New Covenant would shortly come -- Jer. 34:31-34, unlike the Old Law, where the Law is written on the hearts of God's true servants, not on stone tablets.)
