4 dead, 2 wounded in Southern California stabbings

Tell you what, don't bother me until you acknowledge that El Paso was part of the argument you jumped into the middle of.

I read the entire thread. I certainly know much more about these issues than you do.

well lots of people want to limit honest citizens to 10 rounds. If you think the government has the legitimate power to prevent lawful citizens from having 100 round magazines, you also believe it can ban 30-20-10 round magazines unless people can show a legitimate purpose and most gun banners will deny anyone needs a gun.

The second amendment was supposed to be a blanket ban on federal actions. It doesn't wilt merely because tomorrow someone makes a larger magazine
Moving from misdirection to obfuscation. Tsk tsk

Major difference between a 100 round mag and a 10 round mag. The lower count mag is designed/intended for self defense and the defense of others, whereas a 100 round mag is designed to excite hoplophobes who want destroy an old car/tree/building, etc., for fun and for sick ****s who want to murder innocents.

It wasn't about "issues", it is about your inability to follow an argument you jumped into the middle of:

Every mass shooting has been ended by a good guy with a gun.
Uh, except, the guy in El Paso ran out of bullets....and the Gilroy shooter killed himself....as did the Vegas shooter...
they killed themselves when armed people with guns were about to shoot them
Uh, no, the el paso shooter gave up because he had no ammo left. That is definitely not "every shooter is stopped by a guy with a gun".

But then, yer arguments depends on absolutes too.
never said that did I?
You don't know what the argument was. Is it a reading issue..... is it that your posts are so extremely knee jerk that they can't take in the context or the absolutes??

so tell us at what point the government can no longer ban a magazine based on capacity

My position is the government has no proper power whatsoever.

Most active shooters stop because of armed responses

Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia

you sort of prove my theory that gun control is not inspired by an honest but ignorant belief that restricting honest peoples' gun rights will decrease crime, but rather a cultural and political hatred of gun owners.

um, no...you don't get to use that word.

Who exactly are you to tell anyone what they can do? Nothing you post on gun issues is honest and I was referring to the low information voters who think democrat party schemes against gun rights actually will decrease crime or at least, was intended to impact crime

I know, and if Superman had grown up in Germany, we would have lost WWII.

When the Supreme Court, White House, and both chambers of Congress are smoldering mounts of rubble. That what you’re hoping for?

My position is the government has no proper power whatsoever.
Your position is noted.

A cop with a gun. How many have been stopped by armed citizens?

What does it matter?

Seriously.. if the only way this is resolved.. is someone.. cop or citizen with a firearm.. whats the difference?

Its obvious that someone with a firearm needs to be able to respond.

Where I live.. the response time could be hours for a policeman.

That's because we use "the law" to stalk the poor.

Yeah, shootout at the OK corral isn't the answer either. Just think about it. The guy starts stabbing people, several people call 911. When they arrive, or another CCW arrives, they see guys/gals with guns in their hand. That won't end well.

The cat had a knife. It wouldn't have been a shootout...lol
