This has to be a devestating statistic for the Obama and his reelection.........
Right Direction or Wrong Track - Rasmussen Reports™
24 May 2012
Thirty percent (30%) of Likely U.S. Voters now say the country is heading in the right direction, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey taken the week ending Sunday, May
Not really. The question is pretty vague, it doesn't address anything specific. An Obama voter could hear the question and think "No, those darned Republicans are screwing up everything! We're not going in right direction!" A Romney voter might think "No, the gay agenda is pushing forward. Moving in the wrong direction!" while another Romney voter might think "Yeah, those Democrats are losing power! Right direction!"
You are making a huge assumption that a Obama voter can think............
Huh. I thought only adults could serve in the Navy.
You are making a huge assumption that a Obama voter can think............
wow, you REALLY hate President Obama. I mean passionately hate this man.
I hate no one.....That is not what my church teaches me...........I just want him gone before he destroys this country...........

does your church teach you to harp on someone's ethnic heritage as a way to attack & defame them?
Those 30% are both right and wrong. As long as we have such a polarized government, we as a nation will never be moving in the right direction. On the other hand, quite a bit has been accomplished.
Furthermore, how would a telephone survey be anywhere near accurate. I have probably hung up on that survey 30 times. They are annoying and a pester.
I never questioned partisanship of the survey. And it isn't all one man's fault. There 535 congressman and they all are to blame.First of all both parties run telephone surveys all the time...........We have a polarized Gov. because the HOR has passed over 100 bills and they have been table by Reid who won't even let them come to the floor for a vote............
There are a lot of democrats in the senate who would vote for some of those bills because they are in red states and fear losing their seat...........
Why do I bother with you?????????? calling someone by their given name is not defaming them.....

That shouldn't be the reason to vote for something. The only reason that a Congressman ought to vote for something is if they believe that it will better their country. Opposed to popular belief, being a successful politician is not about building the strongest career, but the strongest nation
This must be the percentage of working-age Americans who still have living-wage jobs.Thirty percent (30%) of Likely U.S. Voters now say the country is heading in the right direction
All the HOR can do is pass the bills to the senate but when Reid tables over 100 bills and will not bring them to the floor for political reasons it causes gridlock.
Reid has to go.

Are you really that naive to believe that?????
This finding is up two points from the previous week.
You cannot blame political gridlock on one man alone. Others can work to stop any political gridlock. Pressure and monetary deductions are a very quick and easy way to do so.
That is far from naive. The greatest politicians are not the ones that work solely for their careers. We remember presidents such as LBJ, Reagan, FDR, TR, and others because they make bold actions that could jeopardize their career.

Next to the POTUS Reid is the most important person in this country..........all bills come across his desk....If he does not like them or agree with them he simply tables them and will not bring them to the floor for a vote........He is afraid to bring bills like the budget to the floor because he knows a lot of his own caucas would vote for it.
Then the rest of the Congressman ought to bring him in to make an agreement that everybody likes. That is the point of compromise
You can't compromise on something that you can't debate on in the first place.......
