11 Trillion Reasons To Fear Joe Biden's Presidency

Let me ask you a very simple question.

If a "rich person" (someone who makes over $400,000.00 a year gets to keep an extra $20,000.00 a year, what does he do with it?

He does not spend the money in ways that benefit me. I would rather the government take it from him and do that.

Genuinely curious as to what you think would happen if taxes were voluntary?

Individuals would have more money- its as simple as that.

But really, the point is now how completely and profoundly stupid it is of PoS to think voluntary taxation would work.

He is so utterly ignorant of history, economics, and finance that he actually does not understand that nobody would lend to a country that cannot collect taxes, and he actually does not understand that the federal government costs money to run.

He actually does not understand that switching to voluntary taxation would instantly render the government insolvent and, being insolvent, would collapse. (Maybe he thinks people will volunteer to work out of the goodness of their hearts? :ROFLMAO: )

Hey, maybe he thinks rainbow-farting unicorns would back the U.S. dollar. Who knows? The LP platform is pipe-dream lunacy, no better or more likely to succeed than communism or anarchy.

Mr P is derping again, which is a part of his nature. :ROFLMAO:

How brave of you, PoS.

Is anybody else extremely happy that the invisible tea party dudes are ever so slowly peeking out again?

Yup. Prepare for massive spending and tax increases. This is the hell the dems will be putting forth. CA and NY is already out of cash because of dem leadership, and so will the rest of America.

I voted LP, but if you dont like third parties, then vote Trump- anything but Creepy Joe.

Well once Trump pays his taxes this'll all balance out, I think he owes about 11 Trillion or something like that.

So? Confiscate a hard working entrepreneurs money because you don’t have what he does!

Yes. That is just exactly the way I think.

Some of the hardest working people in the United States are poor. Those who do not see them are not trash. A lot of rich people are trash, like Trump.

What do you do when the rich decide not to create anymore and move to another country?

Sure, but you local police and fire dept wouldn't. Nor would your local public libraries and parks. And the roads that you drive on would likely be unusable from lack of maintenance. Have you considered moving to the UAE? It's really a conservative paradise, 0% income tax, top notch infrastructure and women know their place.

Aww, still more derp trolling and strawmen fallacies. Mr. P thinks that if he keeps repeating the same moronic shit he can get some attention he so desperately wants LOL. :ROFLMAO:

Read Post #61. I really dont want to keep repeating myself to the same ignorant questions over and over.

Oh look, the Cons are coming to terms with the inevitable defeat. Good to see them dusting off the old playbook and again being concerned about deficits and spending. Where have you been the last four years?

The old playbook: 1) cut taxes in a Republican administration; 2) complain about the resultant deficits caused primarly by the tax cuts, but when the Democrat is in office, the deficits are the because of spending; 3) starve the budget, run on deficits and promises to cut spending 4) if they can convince voters to elect a Republican, do nothing about spending, but instead come up with some excuse for a tax cut, thereby increasing the deficit ......... rinse and repeat.

Maybe volunteers to pick up your trash? HAHA Privatize libraries? Federal, State and local parks? You libertarian loons are funny. You want to live in a civilized society with all the bennies, but you don't want to kick in to pay for any of it.

What part of this was intended to elicit an on-topic response?

The subject is there if you can manage to stop trolling long enough to debate something for once in your DP existence.

There are very few things I would NOT privatize. That being said, I would bet if roads were privately owned, it would be FAR cheaper than what I pay in gas taxes here in Calif.

Privately owned by who, you? What roads? Ave's? Parkways? Boulevards? side streets? alleys? Toll gates every block? every other house? You're a legend in your own mind. Right before Mayor Richard Daley left office, he sold all of Chicago's street parking and meters to a private company on a 100 year contract. They immediately raised parking prices 500 %. Stew on that Mr Privatization.

I'm stewing that we pay a buck more per gallon of gas in California for potholes.

What do you do when the rich decide not to create anymore and move to another country?

In another affluent democracy they would be taxed more heavily than in the United States. In a third world country they would have dirt roads, dangerous drinking water, a high crime rate, and a corrupt criminal justice system.

Also, I do not think what a lot of them do is that important. How did Jeffrey Epstein make all that money? Are we worse off because he is dead? How about Donald Trump? If he is as rich as he claims to be, what did he do that was so important?

When municipal and community services are privatized the profits are paid to shareholders not reinvested back into the community. Where do you think the money comes from for your garbage pick-up repaving your roads, trimming trees on the street interfering with powerlines or are a danger of falling on cars. Or fixing the broken water main under the sidewalk? Installing and maintaining street lights? Who do you think pays for all of that? You and I do. And you should be happy that you kick in a few bucks to enjoy these community services hopefully uninterrupted.

This is what happens in socialist countries and other liberal countries. They confiscate the money from "the rich" first and get the public happy and then they find it is not nearly enough, as will be the case with the incredible sending that Harris/Biden want. Then they need to tax other people. First, all making over 100K a year, When that is not enough, everyone's taxes go up. We are already in so much debt we cannot cover it without incredible inflation or taxes on all.

The leftists here call it investment and we'll get a return. They ever took economics.

Your image of "socialist countries" seems to be a right wing fantasy that has not kept up with the end of the Cold War. The ideal of liberal Democrats is not Communism, but social democracy. Of the seven "happiest countries," four have recognizably social democratic economies.

What happens is this. The countries who think they are progressive and wouldn't it be nice for free college, free health care for all, unfettered immigration, no oil, no coal, no fracking run out of rich people to tax.

Let me know how many illegal aliens those countries have and the taxes they have taken from their pay and the wages charged by, oh...Switzerland

The people who live there should pay for it through PRIVATE services.

Oh that's brilliant. So street lights and public sidewalks should all be owned by "private companies" this is what you're telling me? Those private companies would be responsible for maintenance and upkeep? So who's gonna pay "The private company" to fix the broken water main laying under the street on your block? You gonna chip in for that? Private companies don't reinvest back into the community they line their own pockets. Chicago's parking meters now are now handled by a private company that immediately raised parking fees 500%. Money that was previously reinvested back into city infrastructure, garbage collection and schools. Not everything in this world is about making a ****ing dollar.
