We know it was not an insurrection because they had not modern weapons or coordinated plan. The lack of coordination proves it was not an insurrection all by itself. The lack of firearms, from a group that is known for being armed to the tooth, just corroborates that fact.

It was a spontaneous violent outburst from a small group of angry citizens. Much different than the planning and coordination it took for Trumps assassin to attempt to keep his party in power.

I don't mean to nitpick but that isn't the actual truth. I do believe that two American presidents, James Buchanan and Andrew Johnson, have been graded as being worse than Trump. So, technically, that makes Trump 3rd from being the worst. Of course, that was based on his first term. But I highly doubt, seeing how things are going, his second term will help raise him up in the ratings.

Now, if you wanted to say Trump is the worst president of our lifetimes, I wouldn't argue with that at all.
