Yeah. I guess we'll see. We are living in some unusual times. Anything is possible I suppose. While that's a strong possibility, I don't think the propaganda campaign will have the damage to voters opinion as it did during Trump's first term. The November election proves the voter is sick and tired of the democrat rhetoric and drama off the chart.
The rest of this year and next leading up to the midterms will see more craziness, violence, and bs narratives coming from the left to obstruct and accuse Trump, if anything just to make him look bad to sway public opinion, but as I said the voters are on to that game today.
But looky here Redbeer. I know you didn't ask but let me tell you a lil' sumpin' sumpin about me. I was born in the late 50's, in a loving family that didn't have two nickels to rub together. "We abide." A child of the 70's, adulting in the 80's, (does that make me an adulterer? LOL!) a husband and father in the 90s'. A grampa in the 2000's. I had the honor of serving in the world's finest NAVY, and I have the tallest flagpole on the block by at least 3 feet. I am a member in good standing at a local Lions Club International and I am also a Master Freemason. I have a barn full of top-line fishing gear and I own my share of weaponry. I keep my yard kept-up very nicely and I love my neighbors. I have been employed all my life, since I was 13 years old. (Sometimes 2-3 jobs at a time.) I pay ALL my bills and ALL my taxes myself. I don't need any help from anybody. My favorite attire is blue-jeans, boots and a flannel shirt. (Unless I'm in Florida, then it's flopper shoes, cargo shorts and a Jimmy Buffett T-Shirt.) I am an avid fisherman and deer hunter. I am not a big proponent of government cheese whether it's corporate or for the people. If a man can make his own, he should. If you can, you can. Screw excuses. That being said, my baptist upbringing doesn't want to ever see any child, regardless of their circumstance, or an elderly person or a veteran, EVER go without food, shelter or healthcare. My friends are about 50/50 when it comes to President Trump. (And I would donate a kidney to any one of them, in a heartbeat, if they needed me to.) Although I cut my teeth on Pink Floyd and I have performed on stages across America, in a powerful rock band, when I got back to the bus, my radio went straight to the local country music station. Today, my favorite touring band is a band called Whiskey Myers, who came from my old stomping grounds. I call them a rock band. (Some call them country. <think southern rock> check 'em out for yourself.)
Anyways, the reason I am telling you all this crap is because I want to make it clear to you and anyone else who is reading this that, when it comes to being a "conservative" I check all the boxes. This is no "libbo" you're talking to here. Understand?
I am not a big fan of wokesters or the DNC. I have lost count how many republicans I have voted for. Voted for a few democrats too.
I am an independent. I am a freethinker, (My F&AM fraternity membership might have given that away.) I owe no loyalties to any political party or any politician nor will I ever.
I do not speak for liberals. I do not speak for democrats. I speak from ME. Independent me.
Independent ME thinks that Trump is the lowest of low scallywag that has ever set foot in the oval office. I had so much hope for him too. He has let me down. He has let all of us down whether we want to admit it or not.
You might disagree. Half of my friends do.
And yes, I think he will get his ass handed to him at midterms. And, again, I expect he will cry foul and the MAGATards will swallow his bullshit, hook, line and sinker, yet again. Things could get nasty.
