I see this thread is turning into the dumber cousin of trying to
both-sides the media on presidential coverage. You know, the bit where someone pretends that being fair and balanced means treating every president identically no matter what they have or have not done.
Let's just say that as between Trump and Biden, the individual far more deserving of having the word "****" placed before their name is Trump. But sure, you can ignore all the differences, pretend the only relevant comparison is that one occupied and the other occupies the white house. Then we can pretend people tweeting "**** Trump" and crowds chanting are the same, then call liberals poopyface hypocrites.
After all, passing an infrastructure bill is just as evil as carrying out a plan to scare people from seek asylum in accordance with US law by stealing their children and deporting them without bothering about reunification.
or openly inviting foreign interference in an election, knowingly accepting it, telling no one, and then engaging in 14 instances of obstruction of justice (then apparently skating on them because the AG is putting the restoration of electoral integrity above ensuring the republic is not destroyed).
or openly attempting to extort announcement of sham investigations into a political rival using congressionally approved money, for personal gain.
or lying and incompetence on COVID that put God knows how many six feet under that needn't have been there.
or laying the groundwork for a coup, plotting the mechanism, getting all the pieces in order (including apparently 100 GOPers in congress), then whipping a crowd into a frenzy and aiming them at congress so that the goal might finally be achieved.
or.... well, it was something corrupt and/or criminal and/or evil every day.
Right man? It's all the same, so "**** Trump" is identical to "**** Biden"? That's the above-it-all objective view? Ya sure? Why doesn't that fair and balanced view also include the hypocrisy of people who spent several years defending every last ugliness and evil act of Trump by pointing to the fact that they were called "deplorables"? Seems kinda odd they'd all start chanting "**** Joe Biden"...y'know?
Unless "**** Trump" is much less than what is deserved, "basket of deplorables" was way to kind, and different things are different.
(At any rate, I'm not sure what's more absurd: pretending to be offended that someone said "**** Biden" or seeing a thread about how the NASCAR guy is now finding it hard to land deals with national companies because of the chant get turned into "oh yeah, but some liberals are hypocrites because they once said '**** Trump!')
