The law requires you to present a warrant. The law is backed by both the constitution and past judicial decisions. The constitution doesn’t go into specific details but it contains the underlying principles on which laws are based. It isn’t required for the details of laws based upon these principles for laws to be valid. You don’t understand how the legal system and the constitution work together if you think that all constitutional laws need to be specified in specific details in the constitution for a law to be valid and constitutional.
