My answer is usually more ambiguous, something along the lines of "need to know basis, if you need to know then you will know".

That's like a dare to find out.

Or a subtle way of saying discretion may be a large part of continued survival. LOL!

What do you want to bet the victim has a gun now?

I can't believe the little chicken**** ask him first if he had a gun, then popped him. Been funny if the dude had lied and shot him in the pecker.

Surely a caliber would suffice.

It's a strange thing, Neptune Beach has become somewhat unpredictable. It doesn't look any different from Jax Beach. The area north and south around j Turner Butler has flourished over the years. Sawgrass and Ponte Vedra are doing well. But they've had trouble around Neptune. I don't know that a tourist would know to be more careful there especially after dark.

I used to love to fish on Jax Beach pier at night on the weekends. It was peaceful and relaxing. I'd drive up A1A from Vilano Beach (St. Augustine) to Jax Beach. It was all sooooo laid back then. I hate it that it isn't as laid back now.

I grew up in Jacksonville but left 30 yrs ago. Southside mostly around the Mandarin area, though we went to the Regency Mall to watch movies. Ponte Vedra was where we went to the beach after Jax Beach went downhill. I worked in Neptune back in the late 70's, and it was piss hole even then, full of drunken sailors from Mayport Naval.

I am never comfortable in jax anymore. I just went to the landing not to long ago and what a scuzzy place. Sad.

The Landing is crap now, inni? Ortega, Baymeadows, San Jose, San Marco and Riverside are still very nice but the Landing and most everything from there across the Matthews Bridge to and including thr Regency Mall is blighted.

Yep. It all suffered the same disease that is infecting the rest of Florida: Too damn many people. They overdeveloped down south and it is spreading north.

Sigh I used to go to science fair in jax and we would visit the landing and eat and do the mall thing there.
