Sounds like a dictator.

All roads point to Raffensperger recording the call. Are there any state laws violated?

Still no posts from the trump shit-slurpers. They must be taking their Sunday naps.
This one is a bit of bother to defend.........

Not the NFL. Remember, the NFL is liberal.

Better to watch college football, /s where the players have nearly zero rights.

Nope, Georgia is a one party consent state...

I meant are any state laws broken by Trump’s attempted interference.

DC is also a one consent jurisdiction, I first thought that the recording came from the White House, but Raffensperger seems to have telegraphed his move on Twitter.

Yeah but those left-wing universities!

I've never understood how conservative college football fans don't make that connection. Some of those revenues go directly to the colleges.

At the time of this post, FOX still has not reported the call and its webpage has "Nervous Nancy" as the main story.

They can't run the risk of upsetting their viewers.

And some are used for the "socialist indoctrination" (scholarships for free education) of student athletes with a high percentage of Blacks (and BLM activists).

I just found this article on-line. I knew there would be a thread on DP about the topic. This is a good one. As January 6 approaches, Trump continues to decompensate. :)

‘I just want to find 11,780 votes’: In extraordinary hour-long call, Trump pressures Georgia secretary of state to recalculate the vote in his favor

President Trump urged fellow Republican Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia secretary of state, to “find” enough votes to overturn his defeat in an extraordinary one-hour phone call Saturday that election experts said raised legal questions.

The Washington Post obtained a recording of the conversation in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with vague criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.”
Throughout the call, Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel rejected Trump’s assertions, explaining that the president is relying on debunked conspiracy theories and that President-elect Joe Biden’s 11,779-vote victory in Georgia was fair and accurate.
...
At another point, Trump said: “So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state.”

==========
Just when your thought Trump could go now lower, he proves you wrong.
Here, he is trying to strong-arm the Georgia Secy of State into interfering with votes already cast, already counted in an election already certified -- perhaps asking the Secy of State to commit a crime. I think making this request is a crime of its own.

Who recorded a private conversation?

If any of us do that and publish it we face stiff consequences.
