I want to thank the Left for their support of President Trump's 2020 presidential campaign. Pray that the meltdown continues. I feel confident it will.

C. Christine Fair, a previously “friendly colleague,” went on a 31-day screed against Nomani spanning across Twitter and Facebook. According to Nomani’s Dec. 23 follow-up complaint to the university, the “Peace and Security Studies” professor called her a “wretch,” “clueless dolt” and a fame-monger.

Fair also compared Trump to Adolf Hitler and asserted that Nomani’s vote for Trump “helped normalize Nazis in DC.” She didn’t clarify if she was referring to Trump supporters or actual Nazis marching the streets.

I'm sure Nomani is just an innocent, naive, little Trump supporter.....not.

I think Nomani is the antagonist in this story...and prodded Prof. Fair to respond via DM (private message?) and then published her responses on Twitter with tags to Prof. Fair's employers. Nomani was setting her friend up to get fired because she didn't approve of the exploitative op ed article that Nomani wrote for WaPo. In doing so, Prof. Nomani ultimately proved that Prof. Fair was right to end their friendship.

The more the left end of the political spectrum doesn't come to terms that they lost the election and that a Trump presidency is in fact the future, the worse it'll be for them in the long run, and perhaps the short run as well.

Well, at least it'll be self-inflicted, although I suspect that will escape them as much as the reasons for their cherished Hillary's loss and their blame casting to everyone and everything else besides themselves, where the blame should most properly reside.

Nomani was setting her friend up to lose her job because she wanted to end their friendship because of the exploitative op ed article Nomani wrote for WaPo. In doing so, Prof. Nomani ultimately proved that Prof. Fair was right to end their friendship. I don't think I would trust Nomani, either.

prodded or not, Fair seems like the type of person that would strap on a diaper and drive cross country in a fit of rage

Please.

The right was in just as much denial in 2008 and 2012, as the left is purported to be about Trump. It led tens of thousands to want their states to secede, to the Birther movement, it led to the Tea Party movement, the Freedom Caucus....

Well, as it turns out....Nomani is a loon that likes media attention....

"...Nomani dons the mantle of a “moderate, progressive, and liberal” Muslim, yet she consistently takes the side of right-wing, uber-conservative loons against Muslims. It is faux progressives like her who have tarnished the image of progressivism in much of the Muslim world.

Over the years, Asra Nomani has sided with extreme right-wingers and Islamophobes against Muslims time and time again. At first, her absurd views had a lot of shock value. Now, they’re just plain predictable...."

...aaaaaand she's friends with Robert Spencer, founder of JihadWatch. That splains a lot.

Oh please, yourself.

Back in '08 and '12, no riots, no 'safe places' with puppies, kittens, therapy, play doh or coloring books.

There was no continued denial to the tune of:
  1. The Russians hacked the election (in spite of all evidence)
  2. Fox News in every bar
  3. Fake news
  4. unfaithful electoral college electors
  5. Misogyny
  6. Bernie Sanders
  7. James Comey
  8. WikiLeaks
  9. The Mainstream Media (as if the didn't help Hillary enough!)
  10. Jill Stein
  11. Voter Suppression
  12. Repudiation of the excessive PC / liberal / progressive agenda and policies
Denial as demonstrated by wide net of blame casting on everyone and everything else other than themselves.

Most of all, there was continue attacking of the president-elect, the attempted de-legitimization of that legitimately elected president, and the continued decisiveness and division that that entails.

Face it. Hillary lost because of:
  1. Failure of high level campaign strategy
  2. Failure of lower level campaign tactics - on a state by state and country by county basis
  3. Alienating a large part of the voter base - the deplorables, Coal Miners, etc.
  4. Failure to recognize the desire for change in the electorate, while selling 4 more years
  5. Repudiation of the liberal / progressive / excessive PC agenda and policies
This is not to say that Trump was superior in these regards. In may ways, he too was a flawed candidate, just that Hillary was more flawed.

You continue to paint Hillary as some "cherished" darling of "the left," even though a big reason she lost is because she couldn't excite the liberal base. Do you ever tire of posting stupid things?

So what you're saying is that you condone this kind of hateful response? Wait...I know the answer.

The Democrats did a better job of selling their snake oil. Now, America knows better.

Hell! She is...or, was at least. :lamo

This is a delusional system that is complex yet incoherent.

I love it. The left has completely lost their sanity and is calling every single person that is even moderate a "Nazi." I even experienced some mild bigotry today. I laughed. It must be nice to be so disconnected with reality that you think every conservative is out to get you.

On another note...if I could buy stock on pot right now I would be filthy rich. The left is probably using a **** ton to cope with their "anxiety."

Conservatives forget history in discrediting Trump protesters

Face it. Republicans lost their minds when they lost in 2008 and 2012. Many still refuse to accept that Obama is a US citizen. They blamed external factors as much as their own issues, just like Democrats are doing now. And it took until March 2013 for them to really look inward, and see upcoming problems... which they blatantly ignored in 2015 and 2016.

There was no continued denial to the tune of:
The Russians hacked the election (in spite of all evidence)
There's enough evidence to convince the CIA and FBI and ODNI and Congressional Republicans all accept it. Next

Fox News in every bar
I guess they didn't want to show this

Fake news
That's been a problem since the days of yellow journalism. Just FYI.

unfaithful electoral college electors
http://www.cnn.com/2012/10/22/opinion/alexander-electors/

Meanwhile, who did the Republicans blame for the 2008 and 2012 losses? Bush, the financial crisis, the economy, McCain, Romney, Palin, their messaging....

Oddly enough, the RNC did do a bunch of soul-searching, just as the Democratic party is doing now.

Face it. Hillary lost because of....
...around 80,000 voters in a handful of swing states. Which has pout the most unpopular person into the Presidency in decades.

The margin was so narrow, that it's easy to ascribe it to the reason of your choice. I mean, let's be real -- if Clinton lost because of a dozen factors and a major sea change, she wouldn't have won the popular vote by nearly 3 million.

Right.

That's why the dishonest biased media was pulling for her, gave her every break, colluded with her campaign providing questions before the debate or town hall.

That's why pretty much everyone that anyone might pay attention to kept saying she had it in the bag. because they all didn't like her and didn't support her.

Sometimes you really do post some rubbish man.

You live in a fantasy world.

sure. in reality a whole bunch of newspapers endorsed the guy that won.

oh wait. that didn't happen. it was just as the guy claimed. they did everything in their power to give this to Clinton

ACORN State? FacingSouth? ABC News? Clinton News Network? Media Matters? You expecting me to take any of those citations seriously?
(I think I found the source of the fake news)

Who have yet to present any evidence, most likely because the reports stem from their political appointees rather than anyone within their agencies that know something beyond partisan ideology.

the pinnacle of which we witnessed during this last campaign.

Have yet to start, and likely they never will. Pretty certain Obama will never, nor will Hillary either. I just hope that both have the common courtesy to retire from public life and comment on ongoing political concerns, as is the long standing precedent.

...around 80,000 voters in a handful of swing states. Which has pout the most unpopular person into the Presidency in decades.
No one here claimed that Trump was more popular. Just not as ****ty a choice as Hillary, yet failing to recognize that, blame casts onto everyone and everything.

If you don't count mentally unstable California, Trump would have the popular vote as well. No, the reason Hillary lost was she didn't carry as many counties as she needed to.

Kinda hard to do when you call a large percentage of the electorate 'deplorable'. So which brilliant campaigning strategy and tactic is that? Which campaign manager / consultant told her to do that?

From the Daily Caller link in the OP:

Nomani emailed [Fair's department chair] Nooruddin five days later on Dec. 12 to say that she wanted to proceed with a formal complaint. He replied that he would proceed once she sent a formal complaint. Nomani sent the formal complaint Dec. 23, the same day Fair called her an atheist on Twitter. Publicly stating a Muslim is an apostate by calling them an atheist on Twitter could have serious repercussions. Radical Islamic extremists often declare civilians apostates before attacking them, because in their interpretation of the Quran, renouncing Islam is punishable by death.
