    Gaza's healthcare system wiped out

Improved from certain famine to very high risk of famine? Not so much to brag about. The significance is that much more needs to be done to avert famine in Gaza. You may have the last word until OxFam, MSF, etc again raise the alarm about the precarious food situation facing those in Gaza.

He owes thousands in taxes. He’s got a controversial past. Why is Steve Garvey running for Senate?

Garvey was used to push Democrat Katie Porter off November’s ballot.

    Gaza's healthcare system wiped out

The assessment of very high risk of famine is cold comfort for those who are starving in the north of Gaza. Not a situation anyone would willingly place themselves in. That’s the reality no matter how others try to spin Satterfield’s comments.

    Gaza's healthcare system wiped out

Improving the situation to “very high” risk of famine — that’s some improvement! < /s > Once again: “There is still considerable work to be done.” ~ David Satterfield

    Gaza's healthcare system wiped out

The news is that the risk of famine in Gaza is still high, despite Israeli officials bragging about allowing increased food shipments to enter the enclave. Too little for too long makes starvation a continuing problem.

    Gaza's healthcare system wiped out

The news was the entire food situation in Gaza, and in particular the north of the enclave. The Times of Israel managed to report Satterfield’s complete remarks which give a more dire assessment of food insecurity in the territory. I’d say that Ravid has an agenda in his reporting.

    Gaza's healthcare system wiped out

Too bad that Barak Ravid omitted the rest of the Satterfield message from his tweet — the risk of famine in Gaza, especially the north, is “very high.” “There is still considerable work to be done.” ~ David Satterfield For an accurate report of Satterfield’s comments...

    Israel strikes Iran tonight.

Someone was worried that Israel couldn’t handle the Iranian attack on its own.

    Israel strikes Iran tonight.

Don’t recall specific names of analysts but read on sites specializing on the Middle East. Because air forces of four other countries intercepted Iranian missiles there’s room for doubt that Israel could have successfully knocked out all incoming strikes from Iran.

    Israel strikes Iran tonight.

I’ve read reports that the U.S., UK, France, and Jordan were all intercepting Iran missiles. Was Israel capable of destroying what the others did on their behalf? Some analysts say no.

Will your vote be earned, given, or abstain?

Chinese birth tourism has been a thing for some time in Southern California — including during Trump’s administration. Overstayed visas abound, and account for most of the Asian undocumented immigrants in California. Airports are also ways of entering the country — millions and millions arrive...

True — we never had problems along our southern border until Biden was elected!

Israel has sped up settlement-building in East Jerusalem since Gaza war began

Along with the expansion of settlements there has been an increase in violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians — attacks, thefts, arson, physical violence. Settlers are also exerting pressure on the Armenian community in Jerusalem.

My one vote matters little; California will go for Biden. Schiff will be our new senator. (I voted for Porter in the primary.)
