Yes, sadly I've seen it come about through the years beginning with Reagan. The trickle down theory they called it back then. They cut the taxes for the wealthiest and then run up the credit card for future generations of middle class to pay back. The burden has become so heavy that the middle class is shrinking and our economy is in the crapper because no one has any money to pay their health care bills, much less buy things other than necessities, if they can afford those.

We need serious progressive reforms to bring equilibrium back into our tax system. Unfortunately, the old political pendulum that swung back in the direction of the left in 2008, only made it about half way there before it started swinging back to the right again. Suddenly, trickle down theory is sounding good to people again!

Big birds are challenging, for sure. Two of my birds are psychobirds, VERY aggressive. The other two are very mellow and they are the ones who get out more. I love them all, even the psychobirds.

The bases, of our truce or friendship, is too prove that we can be friends, and still be of different ideology. I too agree, with a lot of what you have said about the Israel palatinate conflict. However, I have more sympathy for the people who are caught in this never ending war. We should help find a solution on both sides of the issue.
