Erdogan fans anti-Israeli, Anti-American sentiments for political gain

All this for votes...and international media actually fell for his crap (like they seem to do all the time). Nice to see a mainstream Turkish newspaper picking up on this (too bad the rest of the world can't). Hurriyet Daily News Link to Article

Israel intercepts Gaza flotilla, says Hamas

Unrelated, yet seems a bit disturbing...out of all youtube news videos, why does Google News use Aljazeera on a domestic u.s. issue?

Hamas not a terrorist group, says Turkey's PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan

I just want to point out that if Turkey's PM is signaling a new shift away from western values, then we got an even more unstable situation in the middle east - making the U.S.-Israeli tie even more critical (and Obama/Netanyahu seems to be loosening that tie)...especially with Iran going out...

Hamas not a terrorist group, says Turkey's PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan

Just got this week's edition of The Economist... I have lost almost all my respect for that magazine. Besides being anti-zionist (which is nothing new) it's viewpoint is bordering Hamas-sympathetic. I still got more years in my life, I'd rather not see it end in a world in which fallacy takes...

Israel intercepts Gaza flotilla, says Hamas

Rationality and evidence is all we have; we don't have a prophet as of yet. *It is these comments that make people wonder if anti-Zionism and Antisemitism is the impetus for much of the arguing.

Israel intercepts Gaza flotilla, says Hamas

Israel's interest is the safety of it's people. The blood of the innocent child is on the activists, don't try to kill a soldier (who has no intent to kill you; they had paintball guns) and you won't have issues. Oh I am sorry, if I were being beaten I'd sit there like the rest of the 'peaceful...

Israel intercepts Gaza flotilla, says Hamas

I am beginning to think that the only way to shut up all of this bull is to have Canadians and/or Mexicans send thousands of rockets in the U.S. Then when the U.S. blockades, let's see your reaction. Oh wait, I forgot, it is perfectly ok to allow your citizens to be bombed incessantly.

Israel intercepts Gaza flotilla, says Hamas

Reading through parts of this thread and other news sources it seems that anti-Zionist feelings have clouded the arguments in a haze of bias. If Israel was viewed in a historical and objective context and if it was treated like any other western country, all this would be much simpler. But...

    Why Heaven or Hell?

(Haven't had time to read the whole thread and how it progressed:3oops:...but my little two cents) There is a famous Jewish philosopher, Maimonides, who doesn't believe in heaven or hell, but rather some other life where just the abstract mind (or something like that) exists...

Is Jesus really that believable of a story?

We must also take note that over 2000 years ago, people were oblivious to the most basic notions of science. Though they had some sort of mistaken science, it was shaky at best, and I would presume that anything at that time was believable.

Is Jesus really that believable of a story?

Just my little two-cents... Perhaps Jesus went on a journey to the far east, and there he discovered medicinal herbs and the like, unknown to the middle east. When Jesus 'healed' the people, it was really with medicine that the middle east was alien to. Now because of that, many thought Jesus...
